Royal's POV

The Alpha's gaze shifted between Feina and me, a mix of emotions swirling in his eyes. He took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts before addressing Feina's question.

"Feina, this is Royal," he began, his voice steady. "She's a halfling who I have taken interest in."

Although his reply wasn't what I wanted, I was glad with what I heard so I decided to take my leave. "Alpha, I think it's best I leave. You should settle things with her in private, away from nosey eyes and tongues." I said not wanting them to attract many eyes since we were on the ground floor where people were crowded.

"You may leave," he said with a smile and I bowed before leaving. As I almost entered the elevator I hear Feina's voice, "Stop!"

I turned to face her, "Yes Miss Feina?" I said giving her the respect she deserved as the finance of our Alpha.
