Bethrothed to Alpha Zane

Elena was standing in front of her father, who was going to announce something. By the look of him, it was clear that he was going to make a big decision in her life tonight.

                           

" Dad, why did you call me here?" she asked him because her father's silence was killing her from the inside. There was a trait of her father that whenever he got silent, then he must be planning something.

"I have made a decision for you", Brian, her father said, without any emotion in his voice, and stood up from his chair.

There was silence in the room and her mother was standing in the corner as usual because she was always a submissive wife to her husband.

Elena loathed her mother because she never took sides with her and she never cared for her daughter. She was their only daughter of theirs, but the treatment she got in the family was nothing less than that of an animal.

" You are going to be betrothed to Alpha Zane of the red blood pack, so tomorrow, be presentable because we are going to go to his territory," Brian said, and Elena didn't know how to breathe.

It felt like someone had thrown a bucket of cold water on her head.

She always heard that the alpha Zane is a devil in the form of a werewolf, but she was concerned about something else.

"Dad, I cannot marry him and you can beat me as much as you want because my decision is not going to change," she said to her father in confidence, but one look from him was enough. It was enough to develop goosebumps on her body.

Her father suddenly started to laugh like a maniac and mockingly looked at Elena and advanced his steps in her direction.

" Is it because you are in love with the beta of the Red-blood pack, Aiden?" he said to her, and she looked at him with a fearful gaze because she was always secretive about her relationship with Aiden, as she was not allowed to fall for a beta.

She was the daughter of Brian, the Alpha of the crescent, and she would only be betrothed to the Alpha and not the beta of lower rank.

Elena looked at her father with a wide gaze and she was confused about how her father got to know about this.

"I am the Alpha of this pack and do you think I don't know what my daughter is doing behind my back," he said to her in a mocking tone, and Elena shivered, thinking about her father's next plan that could destroy her for the worst.

" Then why didn't you stop me? If you were going to destroy my life by marrying me to Alpha Zane, then why made I fall in love with Aiden", she asked her father with tears in her eyes.

She always knew that her father was a vile man, but she never thought that he could go to such an extent to destroy her own daughter.

"I thought to let you have your fun because I knew from the start that you would never obey my decision, so now I have leverage over you. If you refuse to marry Alpha Zane, then I will kill Aiden and tell the truth about your lover to his Alpha and I am sure you must have heard how Alpha Zane treated his enemy" he said to Elena, with a dirty smirk on his face.

Elena was standing still because the words her father used were heart-wrenching and she couldn't believe that she was his real daughter. His dad made her fall in love with Aiden and now he was using that same love to destroy her.

" You can't do this, dad," she said to him in her quivering voice, and her father dismissed her with one finger.

" Mom, please say something, dad wants to destroy my life, I'm your daughter and how can you let this happen to me? Don't you feel sympathy for your own daughter", Elena begged in front of her mother, who was standing like a statue.

That day she lost faith in both of her parents and she was exhausted to the greater extent that she fell to the floor and started to cry loudly because no one could help her escape this situation.

She cried about her life and her destiny and she cried for her lover because soon she was going to be in the same packhouse as her lover.

"look at the pathetic whore of a daughter of mine that is crying over the beta when she has her hands filled with alpha Zane". Her dad taunted her and made a disgusted face like the presence of Elena was making him feel dirty.

" My love is pure but you tainted it with your scheme and I promise that I will never accept Alpha Zane because my heart is already taken by beta Aiden," she said to her father in conviction. Her face was covered with tears of helplessness, but her love was not weak and she knew this.

"You are such a silly girl, Alpha Zane is your mate and you are running after his beta who is nothing but the right hand of your mate", his father said to her and rubbed salt on her, already opening his wounds.

" Dad, don't do this, I promise I will take Aiden and run away from here and will never come back", Elena said to him in a desperate tone, because she couldn't imagine her life without Aiden.

" You ungrateful child, Alpha Zane will kill me and my whole pack if you deny to marry him, you are his mate at least respect that bond" his father lashed out at her and called his guards to take out his daughter and throw her in the room.

Elena was thrashed in the arms of guards who were taking her out of the room. She called for her mother and father to have mercy on her but she gets the monster in form of her parents.

Guards locked her inside her room and she fell to the floor and cried over her faith. She wanted a happy and beautiful life with Aiden but all her hopes were shattered.

She was crying and taking out her anger without any care in this world. She was never treated fairly in this packhouse and now she is betrothed to some devil.
