No one can escape from destiny

"Who are you in love with?" Emma asked her friend who was continuously crying and sobbing, just to be sure she heard right.

"I love Aiden, the beta of the red blood pack and I was in love with him since I was only 12, he made a special place in my heart but he is a coward who doesn't have the backbone to accept our love," Elena said to her and Emma got another shock of her life.

There was complete silence in the room because Elena was tired of crying and Emma is still processing the words that Elena said.

Emma knew that Elena s love for Aiden would create problems with her mate and she only want the welfare of her friend.

They both are sitting on the floor when Emma put a hand on Elena's shoulder.

"When you saw Zane, didn't you feel the connection?" Emma asked her.

Elena looked eye to eye with her, she doesn't know if she should share this information or not because sharing her thoughts would put a question mark on her love.

"I felt the sparks and my wolf howled in excitement, but how can I forget the night and kisses that I have spent with Aiden? Is it wrong to feel connected to two men at once," Elena asked Emma who looked at her with a shocked expression?

Elena was confused because she felt sparks for Zane but she loved Aiden with all her heart. She was in turmoil and she doesn't even know how to get out of it.

"Do you know you are doomed?" Emma asked Elena who chuckled.

"I was doomed since I was born into this Crescent pack where women are destined to be slaves of their mates, and I am no different, I thought Aiden would take me away from all this but I was wrong," Elena said, wiping her last tear.

Emma didn't know what to say so they both sat in silence until dawn, nobody ate anything and no words were spoken between them until there was a knock on the door.

He was Beta of Crescent pack, john, who call them to join the family dinner. Elena was in no mood to eat anything but she was aware of her father's anger so she changed her clothes into something comfortable and got downstairs with Emma.

They both sit at the dining table with Brian and his wife, no one spoke and everyone was busy eating food apart from Elena who was playing with her food.

"Alpha Zane called and told me that tomorrow, he is going to take your out for a dinner," Brian said and the spoon she was holding slipped from her finger.

"I wouldn't go anywhere with him, I am marrying him for your sake and that's enough for me," Elena said in anger, her friend signaled her to shut up but she didn't.

"Do not talk to your father in this tone young lady," Elena's mother said and this made Elena laugh out loud.

"it is so good to see that you have still a tongue left in you, because I thought you are mute" Elena taunted her mother.

"You bloody, ungrateful bitch, just get up" her father stood up in anger and both the father and daughter glared at each other in anger.

Elena was a woman of few words and this newfound courage in her was a shock to everyone.

"And you are a father who wants to slaughter his daughter's happiness for the sake of his happiness," Elena said in anger, fire ignited in her… a furnace that might destroy her.

Everyone in the room was looking at Elena defying nature and then suddenly Brian cracked a smile.

"You don't care about your life right?" he asked his daughter with a crooked smile and Elena was flaring in anger.

"But I wonder, don't you care about Aiden? Because if Alpha Zane gets to know about the indecency of his Beta, then I am sure he will show no mercy on him and after Aiden's death, he will forcefully make you, his. So in either case you are going to be the possession of Zane, choose wisely" her father said with a mocking smile and again sit on the chair to eat food.

"You are destined to be with Alpha Zane and no one can escape from their destiny" her mother added with an emotionless face and sat on the chair.

Elena was looking at her parents with a shocked expression. They clearly blackmailed her and put fear in her heart. what kind of parents did Elena get that they didn't care about her own happiness?

Her face fell down in desperation and hurt,, she looked at her parents eating food peacefully like they didn't threaten their daughter.

Elena wants to rebel but she was no fool to understand that Aiden's life was at stake and Aiden doesn't care about her but she couldn't let any danger come in way of her lover.

She was caught but she was not ready to accept her fate so easily, she would fight but without any harm coming in way of Aiden. If alpha Zane wants then he could kill her parents and she didn't mind that but if anything would happen to Aiden then she might not survive because he was her one true love.

"Emma, I think you should go your parents must be waiting for you," Elena's mother said to her because Emma had seen enough drama.

Emma left the spoon on the table and get up from the chair.

"Yes luna" Emma bowed down and looked at her friend last time before leaving, she pity her but she couldn't do anything to help her, she left with a broken heart seeing the condition of her friend.

She could only wish that Elena understood the importance of the matter.

Elena didn't look at her but she was lost in her own misery.

Soon she left for her room dejected but there was numerous plan going on in Elena's mind that could make alpha Zane reject her. she was waiting for tomorrow night because the perfect plan according to her was brewing in her mind
