My beautiful mate

Zane sat in the office and looked at the picture of his mate, Elena. He waited for her for so long. The first time he saw her, he felt the sparks and was happy that the moon goddess made Elena his mate because Elena was the epitome of beauty.

He left her all these years because he wanted her to have freedom in her life, but now Elena is 20 and it's time for them to mate.

Once he had Elena in his clutches, then he wouldn't hand her any freedom and would make her his slave who would take care of him only.

He would cage Elena in his packhouse and he would enjoy her beautiful body day and night.

Zane was no saint, he had many women to satiate him and he had a lot of women in his life and Elena would be his new addition.

Zane was eagerly waiting for his mate to come and, as if God answered his prayer, there was a knock on his door.

" Alpha, Elena and her family have just arrived and your father is asking for your presence" Aiden announced to his alpha in a dull tone.

Zane immediately stood up from his place and straightened his navy blue suit and a smile crept onto his lips, but there was someone whose heart had broken into multiple pieces.

Aiden was looking at Zane with envy because soon he was going to have a woman that Aiden loved.

" And next time, don't pronounce the name of your luna with no respect", Zane went close to Aiden and warned him, with his dangerous aura.

Aiden's heart pained because the luna of this pack had left a permanent mark on his heart and soul.

" My apologies, alpha", he said and bowed his head down in front of his alpha.

Zane got out of his office and went to the main hall and there he got a glimpse of the most beautiful woman of his life.

Elena was sitting, wearing her white gown which had shimmering and she had a deep neckline which he didn't approve of because he wanted no one to look at Elena with lust apart from him.

Hearing the footsteps, everyone was looking in the direction of Zane, who was walking in his glory. He is the most handsome man, yet the most dangerous one. By the look of him, no one can identify what is going on inside his mind.

Elena's heart started to thump loudly when she saw Zane, who was looking very handsome in his navy blue suit and her wolf howled in excitement, but she refused the mate bond because Aiden was not a true lover, but Elena would never forget his love.

So she denied the mate connection that she felt when she saw Zane. There was no doubt that he was the most beautiful specimen on the earth and his raven black hair was adding a plus point to his beauty.

His jawline was as sharp as a knife and he had thin lips but very kissable at the same time, his broad muscles could be easily seen in the blazer that he was wearing.

Elena shook her head because she couldn't think like that about Zane, who was nothing to her. Her heart was still screaming at Aiden, who had left her alone when it was time to choose.

Brian, the father of Elena, shook hands with him and Zane took a seat in front of Elena, who was avoiding eye contact with him.

Zane didn't like this coldness from Elena and this angered him, but he didn't want to lash out at her in front of his parents.

"With this marriage, we are going to merge the territory" Zane's father, Liam, said in his authoritative tone.

"This would be beneficial for both of us, by merging our pack, we will become more powerful than ever," Brian said, but Zane's eyes were looking at Elena, who was still not making eye contact with him. It felt like she had turned into stone without any emotion.

"Elena, sweetie... why are you not eating anything," Debris, Zane's mother asked her sweetly, but in the eyes of Elena, everyone was the culprit of her happiness. Everyone was responsible for destroying her life.

"I don't feel like eating," Elena said, without any expression on her face.

Zane found her response quite disrespecting and it was one of the many things which he couldn't allow.

"Brian, haven't you taught your daughter how to behave, or do I have to do that on your behalf?" Zane said, getting extremely angry. If only others knew how angry he was.

"Zane, it's fine and control yourself," Debris said to his son. Debris was a sweet lady who wanted harmony, but her son's anger scared her. She doesn't want poor Elena to suffer the wrath of it.

"My apologies, Zane, Elena is nervous about marrying you, so maybe this is the reason that she was sounding rude, but I can assure you that she is nice and I'm a submissive girl like you like", Brian replied, referring to his daughter as if she was a toy for Zane to play with.

Brian pinched his daughter's hand to make her realize what she had done.

"I am sorry, Debris... I didn't mean to sound rude" Elena apologized, even though she didn't mean what she said, but to escape the situation... it was better to apologize.

Everything was settled between the two families and after two days, Elena and Zane would get married in front of both pack houses. Zane was happy that, finally, he would enjoy Elena while, on the other hand, two hearts were broken.

Aiden was standing beside his Alpha and he had no expression on his face, but his heart was not at rest.

Elena was looking at Aiden to at least get one look of love from him, but he didn't. Unknowingly, a tear slipped from Elena's eyes but she wiped it before anyone could see it.

However, she was not aware that nothing could be hidden from the greatest Alpha, Zane.

After the meeting, Elena went to her house and found her best friend Emma sitting on the couch of her house, she hugged him immediately.

"You silly girl, why didn't you tell me that you are the mate of the great Alpha Zane? I am very jealous of you that you have the most powerful Alpha as your mate", Emma said to Elena, who only chuckled. Only she knew how unlucky she was.

"She was not aware of this because she was a kid when we found out that Zane was her mate and Emma… Put some sense into your friend's head because she is hell-bent on destroying everyone" Brian said to Emma and went to his room, trailing his wife, trailed behind him.

Elena only looked at her submissive behavior and thought that after some days, she would live the same life as her mother.

Emma was unable to understand the sadness in Elena's eyes because the friend she knew was always happy and cheerful. Then what happened to Elena?

Elena took Emma to her room and locked the door and tears started to slip from her eyes.

"Elena, what is happening?" Emma asked in a concerned voice and then hugged her.

"I don't want to marry him, I have seen the fire in his eyes, that could destroy me forever and ever" Elena shared her thoughts with her best friend and burst into tears.

"What are you talking about? He is your mate and you are bound to him till death," Emma said to her.

Emma thought that her friend was worrying for no reason and that only a fool could deny Alpha Zane and that fool couldn't be her friend.

"Then let death take me because living with Zane will only bring misery to my life because I love Aiden… when Zane finds out about this, then he will kill us mercilessly," Elena said and broke down in tears.

Emma was stunned to hear this news. After all, she never heard this from anyone because she always saw mates fall in love with each other and this was something new to her.
