Chapter Twenty: More to the Arranged Marriage

It’s been hours since Anya left Zeus alone in the company, after their lovemaking. Zeus slept for a while and woke up to continue his activities when he remembered receiving Hazel’s call hours back. He wondered why she called him, he was not stopping her from shopping and she had her money or could rather use his money. It’s not the first time anyway, even when they were just friends. He took his phone and dialed her number, and it just kept on ringing.

He called multiple times and it was still the same thing. Zeus was about to give up when he thought that she could be in trouble again.

“Mark, is Hazel back? Zeus said immediately as he called his friend to ask about his wife. Mark was napping when he got his friend's call and it dawned upon him also that it’s been so many hours since they left the house.

Mark responded while rubbing his eyes “I don’t think so, it’s been hours though”

“I couldn’t pick up her call hours back and she’s not picking up now” Zeus lamented.
