Chapter Twenty Four: Stalker

Anya sat on her bed inside her room with her eyes red as she had been faking her tears for hours before she abruptly called Zeus. After she left Zeus in the office earlier that day, she received Zack’s call and she was glad her plan went well. She just wanted to teach Hazel some lessons and make her leave Zeus alone. Maybe she would leave after getting kidnapped or poisoned because of her husband’s enemies. Hazel was not obstructing her but she wanted that space.

She thought everything was going well not until Zack called her a few hours back and informed her about everything. Zack had never been that angry at her. Her eyes almost bugged out of shock when Zack told her he was no longer interested in working with her because her selfish reasons were slowing him down. But after Anya reminded him of their deal from the onset, Zack calmed down and let the matter go.
