POV: CALLIE

“Did he suffer?” I responded quickly and firmly, hoping that Bastard had endured the worst pain imaginable.

“I'm known for my ruthlessness, Wolf... Didn’t you hear your father’s desperate screams?” I caught a faint trace of amusement in the mysterious wolf’s voice.

“What I heard was nothing compared to what that monster did to me. He wasn’t my father!” I growled, anger boiling within me. My strength waned, and I collapsed to the ground, but not before asking again, needing to know: “Did he suffer?”

“Magnificently so!” The air shifted, and I sniffed, sensing that he crouched in front of me. “Now, what should I do with you?”

“Kill her, my king! A blind wolf is of no use to our pack. We don’t need dead weight!” The repulsive scent of another wolf caught my attention, drawing my focus in his direction.

“Silence, Beta!” The werewolf’s commanding voice was terrifying, so much so that even my inner wolf wanted to bow in respect and fear. “Now, where were we?”

“Black Wolf, your beta is right... End my life and rid the world of my cursed presence. I’ll be one less mouth to feed. But before you do...” I swallowed hard, my fur prickling with a burning sensation, as though his eyes were piercing into me.

“Before?” he repeated, pressing further. “You’re blind—how do you know the color of my fur?”

“I...” I shifted uncomfortably, unsure how to explain. I didn’t want to be attacked again or labeled as a crazy wolf, so I blurted out my relief over the death of my despicable father. “Thank you!”

“Interesting... What exactly are you thanking me for, Wolf?” A faint smile seemed to escape his lips—at least, that’s what the sound suggested to me.

“For freeing our pack from a tyrant king,” I said, swallowing hard.

“And who said I’ll be any kinder?” the werewolf’s tone darkened, becoming ominous.

I shivered as something echoed in my mind:

“Destiny,” the divine voice resonated.

“Just intuition, Alpha,” I whispered, lifting myself slightly and bowing with difficulty, only to collapse forward.

The mysterious wolf caught me, and an electric current surged between our bodies, drawing me into his mind. It felt as though I was seeing through his eyes. Before me, I saw a young wolf with brown and golden hues, collapsed on the ground, critically injured but emanating a proud aura. Only then did I realize that the creature I was looking at... was me!

POV: AARON

I howled for my followers to enter the forest, guided by a scent that felt familiar. The wind blew intensely through my fur, carrying mystical whispers.

“Follow your path, wolf of destiny,” the gentle breeze whispered.

“My Alpha, shouldn’t we head straight to the small town of the Moon Blades pack? This detour wasn’t planned,” Beta Jaxon questioned, his voice laced with concern.

“Our goddess guides our paths. We will heed her requests!” I growled menacingly, baring my fangs. “We’ll split the pack. You will lead the others into the town and destroy anyone who opposes us.”

“And those who surrender?” Jaxon glanced sideways, waiting for my response.

“Detain them until their loyalty is fully subdued, and we assess their competence to contribute to the evolution of the pack!” I roared, stopping and closing my eyes. Subtle images flickered in my mind, as if I could see through the darkness. Fear mingled with pain—a level of intensity I had never felt before. “This way. Time is running out.”

“Whose time?” one of the wolves behind me asked.

I growled fiercely in his direction, silencing him instantly.

We moved deeper into the forest, where the metallic stench of blood filled the air. Taking careful steps, I saw him—my greatest enemy, the cursed wolf who had taken everyone I loved and left me on the brink of death.

Near him was a small, thin, and fragile creature lying on the ground, battered and clinging to life. I sniffed the air just as a powerful gust of wind blew over the enemy Alpha, pushing him away from the injured wolf. A divine tone resonated, issuing a command:

“New destiny...” the wind whispered.

Instinctively, my wolf leapt forward in protection, growling menacingly. I crouched in front of her, inhaling her sweet scent—the same one that had drawn me to her, the same one that stirred something deep within me, calling to me without a single word. My ears picked up the hostility emanating from the enemy. I whispered, so only the unknown wolf could hear:

“Hold on tight.”

Lazily, I turned my gaze to the monster from my childhood nightmares—the cursed being who mercilessly slaughtered my younger siblings and my parents.

“Today is the day of your judgment.”

I stood before Hunter, the sadistic Alpha who had destroyed my life when I was just a pup. His eyes gleamed with cruelty as he advanced, brimming with confidence in his strength and power. But I was no longer the weak, frightened pup he had encountered on that fateful night.

Now transformed into a Supreme Alpha Werewolf, I felt rage coursing through my veins, my eyes blazing with the divine power passed down through the pure lineage of the ancient wolves. It pushed me to fight with every ounce of strength I possessed. Our growls echoed through the clearing, signaling the start of a brutal battle.

With a ferocious roar, Hunter lunged at me, his razor sharp claws aiming for my flesh. I dodged with precision, countering with my own strikes that tore through his hide, savoring the fight. Each exchange of blows was fierce and unrelenting, both of us determined to emerge victorious.

I caught the scent of blood dripping from his body, mingling with the dirt beneath his feet. I licked my claws, savoring the taste of my enemy's blood. His pain only fueled my determination and pleasure. Sinking my teeth into his neck, I twisted his body and slammed him to the ground. The wolf gasped in pain, howling in despair.

I drove my claws into the sides of his ribs, deepening the cuts and piercing through until I felt his lung and punctured it.

With an ear-shattering roar, Hunter bellowed:

“Damned creature... I cannot lose to someone as insignificant as you.”

I looked into his eyes and, for the first time, saw fear.

“You’re weak—the scum of our kind. That’s why you always prey on the weak. You’ve never understood true strength or power,” I declared, following his heavy, faltering steps toward the injured wolf. “How does it feel to be such a worthless prey?”

My wolf roared in my chest, tearing at me with an impulsive instinct to run to the blind wolf and stay by her side.“Lycan King?” the Beta called, glancing toward the point where my gaze was fixed. “Is everything alright?”I growled, making the table tremble, and all the wolves shrink back, lowering their heads.“Draft a solid plan. Present your reasons for attacking this pack—I’m not convinced about this one,” I said, pointing to the map, feeling my wolf's warning grow louder.“Where are you going, my king?” Jaxon asked.I roared, forcing him to take a few steps back and crouch in his human form in reverence.“Forgive me, my king,” he whispered through clenched teeth.I strode out of the room, and

Furthermore, I noticed her ears swiveling in various directions, along with her nose sniffing constantly. Perhaps this was her unique way of seeing through other senses.“Are you going to kill me?” she whispered, trembling.“If I were, what would you do?” I replied curtly, studying her reactions.“I would smile at my fate, but not before begging you to make it quick, almost painless,” she said, surprising me. Her nose brushed against my neck, sending shockwaves through my entire body.“What is your name, Wolf?”“My name?” She raised her head, her fur brushing against my nose, making it itch. I shifted, and she seemed to notice, lowering her head again. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to bother you.”“You have a name, don’t you? Or should I call you ‘blind one’? ‘Fool’? ‘Wolf’?” I growled impatiently. “Stop apologizing—it’s irritating!”“Sorr

My sense of smell was my sight, and I remembered the scent of every tree in that forest. My mother was a wise wolf, one Hunter had captured from another city. I didn’t know exactly which pack she had belonged to. During one of my father’s fits of rage, after he tore into my flesh during a hunt and threw me against a rock, I heard him roar:“I thought with Lyra’s rare bloodline, I’d have strong descendants, but no! The goddess decided to punish us and curse us because of you. The disgrace of the pack!” he bellowed, tearing a piece of skin from my belly with his fangs.“I don’t know if you’re daydreaming or plotting an escape.” Aaron’s voice pulled me back to the present.“I.” I murmured, swallowing the lump in my throat, unsure how much I should say. “I can’t explain how I did that. I was exhausted, but a crooked smile formed on my lips as I looked at her. Furthermore, I truly wanted to care for and protect this wolf and her child.“Ours…” I corrected myself automatically, furrowing my brow at my own reaction. The word echoed in my mind.I stretched out my hand, hesitating for a moment before placing it on her belly. Leaning in, I tried to listen for the tiny, strong heartbeat inside her. I pulled her into my arms, wrinkling my nose at the TV screen, where the movie title stood out: “A Love Beyond Life.”I had never watched romantic movies, not even when past girlfriends asked me to go to the movies. We’re trying to avoid the Alpha, not become his.”My wolf protested in my mind, her presence laced with lust, restless within my chest. I felt a significant improvement below my belly, as if she were working to protect our pup with her healing power. The sensation stirred the baby awake, making him kick excitedly, as if he recognized my beast’s return.“Thank you for coming back.” I placed my hand over my chest, clenching it into a fist. “I was afraid without you… Nocturnus reached us in a dream.
