POV: AARON

The wolf seemed to notice my presence, bowing slightly in my direction. I growled in reproach at Kemilly, grabbing her by the throat. That wolf irritated me deeply, but I knew I couldn’t eliminate her without a valid reason—not at this moment. Left alone with Callie, my wolf erupted in my chest, forcing its way to the surface in a shift, something that had never happened before.

The internal conflict between my human and wolf sides had been constant since the first time I caught her scent. I cornered her near the wall, overwhelmed by a growing need to feel her fur against mine. I noticed her surprise as I rubbed against her, equally startled by my own reactions.

“Let’s go!” I growled irritably at her, observing how, despite her lack of vision, she walked without stumbling or bumping into anything, her nose working tirelessly to guide her.

Jaxon approached, glancing between the blind wolf and me, letting out a low growl of discontent.

POV: CALLIEI felt Aaron moving directly toward his final destination, and a chill ran down my spine in alarm. Just like in the vision, I knew the outcome of this attack. My wolf stirred restlessly, something inside me begging to stop him and get him out of there before he succumbed.“Guide the Supreme Alpha.” The divine voice reached me with a command.Risking everything, I threw myself in front of him, forcing him to step back. The Goddess’s signs were becoming clearer in my mind. Sniffing the air, a breeze brushed through my fur, drawing scents along a path that led us to mud pits to escape the poisoned claws of the Alphas.“A lake…” I whispered inside the grotto after rolling through the mud, then ran deeper into its depths. With cautious steps, the ground vibrated, signaling that the wolves were following me and stopping near the flowing waters.“Where does this channel lead?” the Beta asked.“Follow the path.” The angelic, divine voice of the moon whispered again, guiding us.“W

POV: AARONThe perceptions of the blind wolf were intriguing. When she mentioned that the goddess had guided her, my wolf settled, seemingly in agreement with her response. Few wolves ever received answers from the Deity; only her chosen ones held such a privilege—and I was once one of them. The moon spared my life on the night of the attack, when Hunter cruelly murdered my family, dragging their bodies through the city for all to see his power. My younger siblings, Zai and Zeni, were only ten years old and were killed savagely while trying to protect Davina, who was six. The three had been playing near the clearing. That night, I received the first call from the goddess, guiding me away from the pack. Her whispers led me to a waterfall, where I saw her resplendent lupine form, sitting majestically on a massive rock amidst the fierce currents of the relentless river.“Your destiny will change painfully tonight, my child,” the divinity resonated. “I feel your pain; many of my children

Restless and impulsive, my wolf dragged me upward, stopping at the doorway. Crossing my arms, I watched as the

POV: CALLIEI waited for the Alpha to finish his bath, but staying on my feet was becoming increasingly difficult. Running into battle and throwing myself in front of the black wolf had reopened the wounds caused by Kemilly. The dizziness intensified until darkness consumed my consciousness.I woke to the scent of fear and pain. I wasn’t sure if it came from me or another being until I noticed his overwhelming presence. Furthermore, I heard his fierce wolf growling menacingly, ready to attack, and my wolf stirred within me, responding to his energy.“Everyone fears you.” I muttered to the Alpha, filled with anger.I was surprised by his continued care. Since my mother’s death, only Orion had ever tended to me so carefully, even within his limitations. I sighed, embarrassed by the touch of his hands on my fur, allowing my mind to wander, dreaming of how his skin might feel against mine. Would it be as intense as this? My thoughts drifted to the vision, where his face had made a home in

POV: AARONThe mention of a previous love by Callie made my wolf erupt with fury. Someone had been promised to her, and I clenched my fists, determined to hunt down the bastard. If his body hadn’t already fallen to the attack, I would personally ensure he perished painfully.“Let’s rest. You need it. Tomorrow, we’ll begin your shifting training,” I growled, carrying the wolf to my bed. Beside it, the housekeeper had placed a tray of fruit and snacks. “Eat.”Sniffing the air, Callie moved her nose toward the tray but quickly pulled back, startled, turning to face me.“This is your room?”“Yes,” I replied, my gaze lingering on her lupine figure, wondering what she might look like in her human form. She was a beautiful wolf, despite her thinness caused by malnourishment.“So… this bed is yours?” she asked, her agitation clear.“Blind, not stupid—remember?” I responded sharply, sitting beside her and pulling the tray closer so she could eat in her wolf form. “Eat.”“By the smell, there’s

POV: CALLIEThe warmth of his body nearby brought a strange new sensation. I felt oddly safe and comforted, and it didn't take long for exhaustion to take over. I was transported to the Goddess’s temple, a mental sanctuary I had created as a child—a safe haven based on my mother’s descriptions from one of her stories. But something was different. A powerful presence seemed to accompany me. I sniffed in its direction and realized I wasn’t alone—Aaron was with me.“You shouldn’t be here!” I said sharply, as the veil was lifted from my eyes, allowing me to clearly see the beauty of the man from my visions. He was even more striking than I remembered, exuding power with a single green-gray glance. There wasn’t time to dwell on his presence; the Goddess revealed a vision unlike any I had seen before. Wolves were torn apart, reduced to their primitive instincts—sick, starving, manipulated by others to spark war between species. The Lycan King moved to defend me, and only then did I realize

POV: CALLIEA tear rolled down my face as the image of my mother formed in my mind. I could only envision her features through her descriptions, but her scent was unique—protective and full of love.“Hold on to those memories. Remember the touch.” Aaron continued, and I felt his human hands gently brushing over my fur. “Feel my hand. Try to sense the warmth of my touch beyond your fur.”I raised my muzzle toward the sky, letting the rain wash over my lupine face. I inhaled deeply, allowing myself to be guided by the best memories of my mother—her warm embrace, the way she dried my tears with the back of her hand, the kisses she’d shower on my cheeks, and the tickles on my ribs. The memories began to replace the fear of the pain I anticipated. I was afraid of becoming human again because I knew she would no longer be there to give me comfort.“You’re safe, Callie. It’s just you, your human self, and your wolf standing side by side,” Aaron whispered.Under the heavy rain, pulsating ener

One hand wandered into his hair while the other moved lower, finding what I recognized as his ear.“Callie… It’s hard to control myself when you touch me like this, standing naked in front of me with your breasts so close to my face,” the Alpha growled hoarsely, his restraint evident.I quickly sat back, fumbling around for the towel. Finding it, I covered myself.“I’m sorry!” I blurted out, embarrassed and probably flushed from the awkward situation. “Do you have any clothes for me?”“Hmm… We still need to work on your sense of touch, remember?” he said in a teasing tone. I impaled him directly, taking my time, and looked at each lifeless body with complete satisfaction. The Beta stood nearby, visibly shaken, his eyes darting toward the blind wolf as he frowned. He cautiously approached me, speaking carefully:“My Alpha, forgive my bluntness… Is all this because of the blind wolf?”Grabbing him, I slammed him against the stakes and roared furiously in his face, blood dripping from his nose and eyes.“This is about everyone knowing they cannot stand against my power. My enemies will fall—choose your side wisely, Beta!” I threw him forcefully against the city gates. “Callie!”“Y-yes, my king,” she stammered, trembling.“See what is done to enemies!” I commanded, towering over her. Confused, she turned her snout toward me.“What?” she asked, surprised.“Shift into your human form and feel the lifeless bodies of those who hurt you so deeply!” I g

POV: AARONWe went straight to the cells where the male wolves were separated from the females. As per my orders, all prisoners were to remain in their human form—their weakest state. Any who disobeyed were eliminated without mercy. I stood in front of a cell holding three werewolves. I kept the groups small to prevent rebellions that would be difficult for the guards to suppress.“All of you, shift!” I growled loudly, my command absolute, increasing the restrained pressure of my power. If I let it fully loose, I could suffocate any creature with sheer force alone. Trembling, the prisoners exchanged confused glances.“My king, isn’t this something we usually avoid?” the Beta asked nervously from behind me. I shot him a sharp glare, and he quickly looked away, remaining silent.Turning back to the captives, I watched as, one by one, they shifted into their wolf forms. I inspected each cell carefully until I found the three aggressors from Callie’s memory.“You three, step forward,” I o

  • PROMISE OF THE ALPHA TO THE BLIND LUNA   CHAPTER 27 - ENEMY ADVANCES

POV: AARON“Of course, my king.” Callie replied, her voice still laced with fear.It was the first time I had lost control of my mind, acting purely on instinct. For us wolves, desires were far more intense—we could smell the pheromones, irresistibly drawn to them.It took immense control and strength to suppress the body’s basic needs, but something about her seemed to dull my mind, silencing logic and reason, awakening dark desires that made it increasingly difficult to resist the urge to claim her.My wolf made the task even harder, growling restlessly in my mind, predatory and domineering, ready to claim her as his. As I evaluated her through the lens of a Supreme Alpha, Callie was not a wolf worthy of being my mate. Having a blind wolf as my Luna would be a sign of weakness. Why did a part of me even consider the possibility? I growled in frustration. We needed to return to the pack. I was enraged by the attack and by her memories. I needed to release this pent-up fury, and I kne

Callie burrowed her face deeper into my chest, sending waves of electric sensation coursing through me. I growled through clenched teeth, knowing exactly what I would do once we returned to the pack:“I’ll skin those wolves alive!”POV: CALLIEThe Alpha was taking his time returning, while my body paid the steep price of transformation. Exhausted, I lay at the edge of the bed to avoid disturbing the king. My mind wandered, relishing the few pleasures I’d experienced in life—like the warmth and gentleness of his touch, i

The intensity of her emotions coursed through me like waves of electricity.I grabbed her neck with gentle pressure, pulling her closer. Inhaling deeply, I absorbed her intoxicating sweet scent. My teeth grazed her pale skin, leaving a soft mark. Callie’s scent shifted to one of apprehension and fear, and her frightened expression made me pull back.“I won’t take you by force, little wolf. We leave at dawn,” I added, heading toward the door.“Aren’t you going to rest too?” she asked shyly. “I won’t bother you, my king… I can sleep elsewhere to give you privacy.”“What I want right now, you can’t give me.” I growled, a mischievous smile playing on my lips as I tilted my head, measuring her from head to toe. “Not yet.”I left the

I touched my swollen lips, overwhelmed by the lingering sensations, and sighed as tears welled up.“Did I hurt you?” he asked, his voice intense yet laced with a hint of concern.“Your touches are gentle.” I confessed, my feelings a confusing mix. “Please, King Lycan, this kind of pain, I couldn’t bear.”“Pain from my touch?” Aaron seemed as bewildered by my words as I was.I shook my head, trying to stifle my sobs, afraid of being punished as I was in my pack. The more I cried and begged, the more they hurt me.“To have a reason to live, only for it to be taken away from me again!” I said through clenched teeth, a mix of anger and sorrow filling my voice.I turned my face away, feeling the weight of his body.
