FRIENDS

"Hi, you're already here." hindi niya inaasahan.

I checked my wrist watch at saktong alas siete na.

"On time," komento ko at nagkakatitigan kami ng may tipid na ngiti sa mga labi.

"Have a seat," turan ko at iminuwestra ang kaharap na upuan. He opened his button of his suit and sat on the chair.

"Order na tayo?" I nodded and he instantly called the waiter. Binati muna kami ng waiter bago bigyan ng menu.

"What do you want to eat, Ky?" mula sa menu ay nalipat ang atensyon ko sa kaniya. I suddenly felt my heart stopped upon hearing him called me 'Ky'.

Nakakamiss din palang marinig sa boses niya ang palayaw ko. Malungkot akong napangiti at sinabi nalang ang gusto kong kainin.

"Pan-seared salmon with tomato pesto and raspberry wallnut torte for my dessert, please."

"How about you, sir?" baling naman ng waiter kay Cohen. Cohen smiled then stated his orders.

"Beaf steaks wellington and a brownie sundae for me."
