Narrator- "Is that so?" Damien wondered, while sitting back in his chair, "and who is she?" "A human girl." Elaine replied, while perched on her father's desk. "A human?" Damien echoed in question. "Yep." Elaine said with popping emphasis on the 'P', "saw her with my own eyes and everything." "Well, this is quite interesting." Damien mused, "How was he with her?" "What do you mean?" "His behavior," Damien clarified, "did he seem happy to have a new mate?" "Oh no. He hates her guts." Elaine commented with a smile, then she added, "For a second I thought he was going to rip her throat out." "Really?" Damien questioned. "Yeah, but then George showed up and long story short, the girl is with Asher now." Elaine recounted. "George, that meddling snake." Damien noted, his fists instantly tightening. Elaine didn't comment on her father's words about George, nor did she show any emotion. "How do you want me to proceed?" Elaine demanded instead. Damien looked at his daughter and l
Asher- I looked down at the girl's unconscious form gathered in my arms again for the second time tonight. Her mouth was shut, her lips appearing soft, and yet I knew they harbored a tongue that was sharper than paper. "Good, you caused her to pass out again." I heard Joshua comment. "Boy, you sure have a way with women." He added further and shook his head. "Must be that sunny charismatic Alpha Male charm." "Are you done?" I snapped before I could think about it. Joshua raised his hands, his palms opened to the night sky and shrugged. I scoffed and looked down at the girl again. She appeared so pure and innocent, but I imagined she needed a sign of CAUTION: EXPLOSIVE WHEN AWAKE taped to her forehead. The chick was insane, and not what I wanted to deal with at all in this moment. "Hello, earth to Asher!!!" Joshua called out. I blinked and looked at him, bored. "Geez, for a wolf that claims to detest his human mate, you sure do a lot of staring." His comment suddenly made the
Asher- The girl was still sleeping in my bed. My bed. A place which hasn't been occupied by another extra body since... This girl was already invading my space a little too much. I needed to figure out how to handle her situation before getting rid of her completely. I didn't need a mate. No one would ever replace... The girl sighed and hummed in her sleep. Why was she so dang familiar in mannerism to...? No. No she wasn't. This girl was toxic. I could tell. She talks back, has an attitude, and she's human. I didn't have the patience to deal with breaking a human into our world. If she wasn't smart enough to accept the fact that regular humans were not in fact on top of the food chain, then I wouldn't be able to help her. "Alpha?" I heard Josh's voice outside my door before he gave three firm knocks. I instantly had a headache. "Alpha, sorry to disturb you, but it's urgent." Joshua spoke again. Maybe if I stayed really quiet, he would think that I'm asleep. I didn't have the
Narrator- "Nanda?" Aunt May called out while approaching Miranda's resting figure on the Alpha's bed. "Nanda." May called again, sitting carefully, while placing her palms on top of Miranda's right hand. "Miranda, wake up." May cooed softly, shaking Miranda's hand. Miranda mumbled in her sleep, her brow furrowing slightly. "Come on Nanda, wake up." May encouraged, though her tone was slightly anxious. Miranda hummed then sighed, before her eyelids slowly opened. Aunt May's picture was the first thing Miranda saw, and for a moment she felt at ease. She knew that she must've been dreaming, and aunt May was now waking her up. Aunt May smiled down at Miranda, who smiled in return while silently thinking that her brain had made up the entire kidnapping at the club. But then, in the corner of her eyes, appearing a few steps behind her aunt, Miranda saw him. Miranda's pupils flooded with a troubled gaze, her eyebrows frowning with panic. She drew in a quick breath and pushed herself of

Dillon breathed out, as if he misheard Elaine. "You asked what I wanted, and I said I want a kiss." Elaine clarified. "Why?" Dillon wondered. "What do you mean 'why'?" Her fingers began to press down on his windpipe. Dillon stiffened and squeaked. "Wait-" he half-begged and half-squeaked all at once. Elaine pressed further. Dillon's wrists pulled at their restraints, but his actions were futile. When his face paled, his mouth ran dry, and his eyelids started to blink groggily, Elaine released his neck with an angered grunt, and walked away. "Didn't you learn anything from the last time you chose to question me?" She turned around and demanded sharply. "Yes-I-" Dillon's faint, panting words were cut off by a cough. Elaine waited for his lungs and injured throat to calm down. "I- I'm sorry
Narrator- Elaine returned from the shower, dressed in a sheer white bathrobe. She tied the bands around her slim waist, but the cloth itself barely did anything to hide her nudity underneath. Her black hair had been towel-dried and was now plaited on the right side of her neck. She wore a rose-scented perfume. When she closed the door behind her, Dillon's tears had dried up. He leaned his head against the dresser, his face looking away from Elaine. He blinked softly and gulped timidly. Though he appeared lost in his thoughts, his accelerating heartbeat was enough warning that the vampire was mentally preparing for and fearing another possible assault from the huntress. Elaine noted the thrumming of Dillon's heartbeat in the border of his carotid, and she rolled her eyes. "Relax Dilly-boy, I'm not in the mood." She expressed with a bored tone. Dillon didn't respond. He simply gulped again, and his right wrist slightly twitched against the chain holding him prisoner. Elaine release
Narrator- Ben entered a mud hut covered with bamboo and straw, which served as the local social establishment for the closest hybrid village near the pack. When the elderly wolf entered the dark space lighted only by candles and handmade wax lamps, he still wore his cowboy style hat, which covered his silver white hair, and provided a dark shield for his pupils which carefully looked from left to right while he made his way to the bar. Though the sun was shining brightly outside, it's rays were unable to penetrate the thick dirt walls of the hut, making the inside cool, dark, safe and homely for its pale occupants, and their fellow werewolf drinking partners. The smell of burning smoke, alcohol, blood and red meat all melted into the closed space like an unavoidable stench which threatened to hang on its visitors' clothes upon exiting the place. There were patrons who turned the oak tables into their beds. Some were asleep and snoring loudly, while others laid unconscious with busty
Miranda- I woke up and found myself on Asher's bed. For the first few seconds of my regained consciousness, I looked around the room apprehensively, my eyeballs moving around in their sockets. When I suspected that Asher wasn't in the room, I lifted my head and looked around to ensure that he was nowhere to be found. I gulped and straightened myself before holding on to my right temple, which was now being battered with a painful headache. I noticed that Aunt May's food was still on the table, and when my vision took in the tall glass of apple juice, I gulped suddenly feeling very thirsty. I carefully got off the bed and headed to the chair closest to my breakfast. I ate my food but couldn't help it when my pupils looked around the room every once in a while. Aunt May knew me well enough to pack just enough food for me to clean out the plate. I downed the meal with my apple juice and enjoyed the cluster of washed grapes provided along with the meal. Once that task was completed, I h
Narrator-The brunette victim stared up at the dark-eyed vampire and predator, while her breasts pumped up and down with anxious pants. Her tongue resembled a dried out fleshy map resting at the bottom of her jaw. The lines of her vocal had run drier than a ravine in Arizona in the summer, and her heart constantly dented the lining of her ribcage."Wh-what do you mean?" She managed to ask after a moment.George smiled as he watched her lips move with the question. George drew in a deep inhale through the hairs of his nares, then he lowered himself before the woman. He stared deeply into her olive globes and loved the panic which filled her pupils."What's your name?" George posed. The woman blinked fast and multiple times."Vi-Violet." She stuttered."Mmh." George hummed, before he lifted a cold hand to pet Violet's hairline. His fingers brushed over her forehead, down the line of her nose, and over her lips. His index finger pressed and pulled her bottom lip downwards, causing Viole
Narrator-Miranda stared into Asher's dark orbs, and she shyly pulled her bottom lip into her mouth before she got an idea."I'll fix it," she began to speak while she kept her gaze steady on his eyes, "if you let Asher back in control."Asher frowned, his dark pupils becoming angry, but Miranda didn't falter in her resolution. She had kept Asher's explanation from this morning in her mind. Whenever tensions were high, Asher's wolf would take control, but if she could always get Asher back even when he was emotional, maybe this would be easier for them both.Asher growled in Miranda's face, and she blinked quickly, but tried to appear calm. Asher's eyebrows relaxed just slightly when he realized that Miranda wouldn't budge in her demand, then finally his vision began to clear.Miranda watched in silence as Asher's pupils lightened from black to brown, until they were clear, and their golden rims were back to their original color.Asher looked at Miranda and he sighed and gulped softly
Miranda- I turned my head towards the door when I heard a key insert into the lock, and it clicked out of place. I watched the handle turn, while I was still on my back with my hands folded on my stomach. Anise had disappeared from sight, and I gulped while waiting for whoever was on the other side of the door. When the door was pushed open, I noticed it was Joshua, and I couldn't help the relieved sigh that pushed past my nostrils at the sight of him. He smiled at my reaction, and I noticed he had a tray in his hands. "I can't tell if you're relieved to see me or the food." He said with a friendly smile. I smiled too. "Let's just say both." I admitted. I waited for him to place the tray down, then he walked back to me and lent me a hand. I grabbed his palm and as soon as my fingers closed around his hand, he hoisted me off the floor so swiftly, my face, neck and chest smacked into his torso. "Woah there." He said, and he embraced my waist to help me get steady. I blushed and
Narrator- Miranda was startled awake by the sound of a slamming door. She released a gasp and her eyelids snapped open. Her neck was turned to the left, as she laid on her back. Miranda blinked, her chest instantly panting from the unexpected awakening. She noticed the pillowcases and her brain immediately registered his scent through her nostrils. The hairs of her skin quickly erected, and Miranda painfully swallowed a ball of saliva down her dry throat. Asher was in the room. Miranda could tell. Something about the way her stomach knotted, and her lungs only breathed faster and faster told her so. He was staring too. The goosebumps on her panting chest told her as much. Miranda gulped again and she drew in a breath before mustering up the courage to turn her neck in the direction of the door, and lo and behold, Asher stood there, shirtless, with only a pair of sweatpants hanging around his hips. His chest and hair were dampened with sweat, and the image only made Miranda feel mor

When he walked through the doorway, to his surprise, an entire half of Elaine's closet had now become dedicated to manly clothing, fitting his size exactly. From jeans, joggers, to polo shirts and leather jackets. Sitting above the rack which held the hangers, were boxes of shoes and folded towels. Dillon frowned at the entire set up and gulped while sending a look over his shoulder. He wanted to smile at the gesture but couldn't bring himself to do so. Falling for Elaine, even with her evil tendencies was one issue, the other was surviving. Dillon didn't think he'd survive belonging to Elaine. She was as explosive as she was deadly. When he had looked into her eyes, he saw no sign of humanity, just empty, angry darkness
Narrator- Joshua turned and fully faced Deidran while carefully shifting himself so he could stand directly in front of Jamie and shield her from a possible attack. "What is she doing here?" Deidran asked lowly, a menacing growl running through the muscles of his chest with every exhale. "She has the Alpha's permission." Joshua spoke calmly, then he asked, "how did you know we were here?" Deidran, still keeping his focus on Jamie explained, "I heard voices and noticed the door was open, and then I smelled it." He emphasized on the 'it' while still glaring at the pale creature. "Well that's not very nice." Anise commented in a scolding manner. "Alright, well I'm going to escort Jamie out. I need to close the door." Joshua said, though his posture was tense. Deidran could make a move towards Jamie at any time. It wasn't his fault. Wolves and Vampires were natural enemies. It was practically instinct to attack, but Jamie was different, and Joshua had to play his part to pr
Narrator- George stared at Carolynn with pupils darkened by disbelief and skepticism. "Well, aren't you going to invite me in?" She said, and her voice still had the same effect it did on him over two decades ago. George had to fight the urge to close his eyelids at the sensation of goosebumps developing along the line of his naturally cold spine. His pale fingers squeezed the door handle, forcing the metal to crunch beneath the vampire's intense strength. George avoided to breathe, just so his lungs wouldn't be violated by her scent, which he remembered to be as sweet as apples ripening in the fall. Carolynn cleared her throat when George's lenses stared at her for too long. The noise didn't snap George out of his daze, at least not in the way that she had hoped for. "What are you doing here Carolynn?" George asked the woman, who's light blonde hair had grown much since he last saw her. "I need a favor." Carolynn explained. "Cutting straight to the chase then?" George wondered.
Narrator- Jamie's hands gripped Joshua's jacket and pushed her form off her toes so she could press herself closer to him. The warmth of his skin attracted her ice-cold pores, and his woodsy scent entered her nostrils, making her fingers grip the material of his blazer even more. Joshua kept Jamie's mouth pressed to his by holding her face and neck captive. He tasted her lips, and shyly licked the tip of her tongue, before he realized what he was doing. However, instead of stepping away quickly, he carefully ended the kiss, and slowly placed some space between their bodies. Jamie blinked at Joshua, then avoided his gaze. Joshua scratched the back of his head, then cleared his throat. "So yeah, shut up." He said, then he turned just in time and walked to the mouth of the cave. There, the Beta stuffed his hands in his pockets, and looked out onto the forest, unable to keep a small smile from lifting his cheeks and spreading across his lips. Jamie also smiled. She touched her lips, a
Narrator- Joshua dropped Jamie's hand and stepped away from her without finishing his sentence. He turned his back on her, and walked towards the mouth of the cave, where he was sure Jamie wouldn't follow him. There, he stuffed his hands in his pockets, and looked out onto the forest, unsure of how to proceed. A few hundred feet away, inside the mansion, Miranda decided to head down to her kitchen to start preparing her dinner. The ghost did not make a reappearance since their argument that morning, and Miranda now truly feared that she was in fact alone. Unable to forget her worries, while going through her pantry for the necessary items needed for her meal, Miranda pulled out her phone and without thinking twice, dialed her mother's number. A fuming Carolynn's glare was finally removed from Ben and May, when her phone began to ring. She pulled out the device, and upon noticing the caller ID, she plopped the phone onto the table so the elderly couple could see who the caller was. M
