"You are a murderer!" Morgan lashed out as he threw a powerful slap across Lilian's face. He was burning in rage like a wild beast ready to devour its prey.

Lilian clutched her cheek, her fingers trembling from the shock of the assault. Why did he call her a murderer? She did not understand what was happening. "I did not do anything wrong, Alpha." Tears started to form in the corner of her eyes.

"Liar!" Another slap hit her face and so she staggered backward. "You gave Samantha a drink laced with a concoction, that caused miscarriage! "

"Alpha M-Morgan, I swear to the Moon Goddess that I did nothing wrong!" she sobbed uncontrollably.

"Shut up!" he snapped, cutting her off. "You killed our baby! It's all your fault!"

"That's not true!"

Lilian felt her world collapsing around her—every word he said cut deeply into her soul. Tears streamed down her face as she pleaded for him to at least believe her.

The guards, tall and menacing, blocked her path, their arms crossed over their chests. She could feel their disdainful glares as they eyed her, a lowly omega, with little regard. But Aurora was like a mother to Lilian so she had to help her at any cost."Please," Aurora begged, her voice trembling but firm, "just give me a few minutes to speak with the Alpha. It’s important."One of the guards sneered, not even bothering to hide his contempt. "The Alpha doesn’t have time to listen to someone like you. You’re wasting your breath, Omega."Before Aurora could plead again, another voice sliced through the tension—sharp, arrogant, and dripping with disdain. "Who gave you permission to step foot on the doorstep of the Alpha’s chamber?"It was Samantha, her presence commanding attention as she approached with a slow, deliberate stride. More than that, how could he ever forgive her for killing his and Samantha's child? The thought twisted like a dagger in his chest, reopening wounds he had tried to bury deep. That loss haunted him every day, and now Lilian—a woman he blamed for the death of his child—was expecting another. His child. The

Morgan paced back and forth across his dimly lit room, his steps heavy and his thoughts tangled with regret. He ran a hand through his hair, gripping the glass tighter, almost to the point of breaking it.“I was a fool,” he muttered under his breath, feeling the weight

Early in the morning, before the first light of dawn began to break through the dense canopy surrounding the villa, Morgan stood at the balcony, shrouded in the cool mist that blanketed the grounds. He had barely slept. Guilt and regrets kept haunting his mind and heart which made him uneasy in each passing moment. Morgan called his most trusted Gamma guards, whose loyalty and devotion had been tested and proven over the years. They approached him quickly, their head bowed in respect. Their expressions were tinged with curiosity as it was not often for their Alpha to call on them especially at early hours except for very important matters. "Alpha, we are always here to serve you. Whatever your command, we will carry it with utmost dedication." “I want you to go to the forest,” he said, his voice low but firm. "Look for Lilian. She’s somewhere out there, and I need to know she’s... that she’s safe." The Gammas were caught off guard as they exchanged glances with one another. It

But as the Alpha, he could not neglect his responsibilities although he felt so heavy with each passing day. One night, he was drinking alone in his room. Why did you not call Declan and Argos to join you?" Samantha's voice sounded like she was concerned.Morgan did not respond, he just continued sipping the wine in his glass,Would you mind if I joined you?" Samantha asked with amusement in her eyes.
