Morgan finally decided to travel to the Balkans. He was certain that his dream was real. Lilian might be in danger, and he thought it would be better to trust his instinct this time.

"Leaving at this hour, Aron?" Alice spoke from behind.

"Yes, I need to do something very important, but sorry, it's confidential," he responded while preparing things for his travel.

"Are you coming home right away?"

"I am not sure, Alice. Please take care of Jenny," he said, then walked towards the door.

His mind was filled with nothing but Lilian. He wanted to reach the Balkans as quickly as possible, because any delay could put her in danger. He was hoping he would arrive in time to save her, because he couldn't forgive himself if anything bad happened to her.

After a few hours of travel, he arrived in the Balkans. It had been a year since he had been there. He couldn't help but remember his life in the Blue Moon Pack. He wished he hadn't made that mistake with Lilian. Maybe he would still be the Alph

Lilian took a sigh of relief when she realized they were already outside the Balkans. She was certain the wolves would not go after them, so they were safe for now. However, her thoughts drifted toward Morgan. She was certain it was him, but how did he know she was in the Balkans? The question lingered in her mind. "Where are we going, dear?" Aurora asked. "To Silverstone, Mom. I want you to meet my adoptive parents, and of course Liam. I'm sure he’d be happy to see you," Lilian replied. "By the way, the one who helped us earlier was indeed a strong wolf. It reminded me of Alpha Morgan. But it could not be him. He went missing a year ago, and everyone in the pack believed that he was dead." Lilian was just silent while waiting for her mom to say something more. She could not tell her yet that Morgan was alive and his neighbor in Silverstone.“Do you still remember him, dear?” Her mother’s question took her by surprise. “No, Mom,” she lied, though she knew it wasn’t true. “It

Since Lilian's parents were occupied in business, they were out of the city again after meeting Aurora. "Mom, are you okay?" she asked. "I am not used to this kind of life, dear, but maybe someday I can adopt the lifestyle here," Aurora answered as she looked at the window. Lilian came closer to her and tapped her shoulder. "I know, Mom, it's hard for you, but this is the safest place outside the Balkans." Aurora inhaled deeply, her gaze drawn to the glittering tapestry of stars above. But then, a flicker of interest caught her eye—a movement next door."Alpha Morgan!" she spoke, her voice barely audible. Lilian's heart skipped a bit when she heard Morgan's name. Had she really seen him? If so, then Morgan had already arrived from the Balkans. She was certain he had gone there and was the one who rescued them again, the Gamma wolves. "What did you say, Mom?" she asked as she pulled away the window curtains. "I think I saw Alpha Morgan," Aurora muttered. "I am not mist

Morgan watched as the two wolves disappeared into the night, his jaw clenched. He knew Argos wouldn’t stop until he was dead. His half brother was ruthless, and if he had sent assassins this far, it meant the situation in the Balkans was worse than he had thought. He needed to act quickly, but there was still one thing holding him back—Lilian. He turned towards her window, his heart pounding. He had seen the way she looked at him earlier, full of hesitation and pain. The bond between them still existed, no matter how much she tried to deny it. But he knew, he hurt her so much that it was hard to forgive him.Meanwhile, inside Lilian’s room, she sat on the edge of her bed, gripping the fabric of her nightgown tightly. She had seen everything. The fight, the way Morgan had spared those wolves, and the look in his eyes when he let them go. It had the look of a true Alpha. Despite everything, she couldn’t deny that a part of her still admired him. But admiration wasn’t enough. She had suf

A few days had passed since Morgan left for the Balkans, and though it was fine for her, she could not help but feel the emptiness of his absence. Lilian resumed her work at the office, making herself busy in attending meetings and other business concerns to distract herself from the lingering thoughts of him. She told herself she was fine, that she did not care about him, but a part of her couldn’t shake the feeling that something was different this time. At home, her mother, Aurora, took over most of the household responsibilities. She spent most of her time taking care of the flowers and plants in the backyard. By doing this, she could at least forget the life she had in the Balkans. When the afternoon rolled in, she would pick Liam up from school, holding his small hand as they walked home together. "Mom, where’s my Daddy?" Liam suddenly asked. "Do I have a Daddy?" Lilian froze, her hand tightening around the spoon she had been using to stir Liam’s soup. She wasn't expecting

Her presence was calm, but her eyes were filled with determination.“I’m coming with you, dear,” Aurora said again, her voice was firm. “I can't let you go to the Balkans alone.”Lilian’s heart clenched. “Mom, no.” She stepped forward, lowering her voice, trying to be gentle. “You can’t come with me. Lilian Grey, an Omega, moved through the busy halls of the Blue Moon Packhouse like a shadow, her head bowed, her presence barely noticed. Being the daughter of a lowly Omega, she had always felt like an outsider. Her father had abandoned her, for a reason she did not know. After her mother's mysterious death, Aurora took care of her. She was five then and still could not understand the rumors throughout the pack about her family background. Whenever Lillian passed, she heard people say, "She has a cursed bloodline. They believed the curse was the reason her mother died unexpectedly, and the worst thing was that they jumped to the conclusion that anyone who was connected with her would be doomed to share the same fate. No one knew the curse's origin, but it was said to go back generations, long before Lilian’s time. Lilian had no memory of her mother’s final days, but the rumors weighed heavily on her. Even as a child, she could sense the cold treatment of others. The way parents wou

When Lilian woke up in the morning, she felt an inexplicable pain like something in her had torn apart. She looked around and realized she was inside the library, lying naked on the sofa bed. What had she done? She tried to recall what happened until everything had sunk into her mind. "Oh my..." she murmured. She was with Morgan last night. Her fingers absentmindedly traced the bedsheet, and her heart clenched as she saw droplets of blood stained on it. The sharp contrast of crimson against the white fabric served as the sole evidence of the night she had surrendered everything. She couldn't believe she had given her virginity to Morgan for just one night. It was a moment of weakness and oblivion, yet she had no regrets. In fact, she felt a sense of happiness in her heart. However, another reality hit her that made her feel nervous. She could still feel Morgan's touch, his intense gaze that seared into her soul, his scent that filled her senses, meant one thing—he was her m

Lilian and Aurora were able to escape the packhouse, but they could not easily flee from the Balkans because the borders were heavily guarded by the Gamma guards. Getting through would be difficult, and they would likely be caught by members of the Blue Moon Pack. They had no choice but to stay in the dense forest for a while and wait for the right time to cross the borders. "I wish you hadn't come here, dear. It's better to remain a slave rather than putting your life in danger," Aurora said, her voice filled with concern. "What will happen if they catch us?" she sighed. "Samantha orchestrated everything for you to be kicked out of the packhouse. She accused you of murdering her child, but the fact is, she wasn't pregnant at all. And the worst, she hired a fake talisman to give a false prophecy regarding the downfall of the Blue Moon Pack. She used your b

How could he ever tell her the truth? He asked at the back of his mind.He watched as Jenny entered the classroom, waving goodbye to him. A few moments later, a car pulled up at the school gate, and his eyes followed as someone stepped out. It was Lilian's son Liam, who happened to be Jenny's classmate. "Bye, Granny," Liam waved his hand to the middle-aged woman inside the car. Morgan assumed it was Lilian's adoptive mother in Silverstone. When the boy reached in his direction, he called his attention. "Hey, kid, ca
