Five days before the wedding, Samantha sat in front of her vanity mirror, her fingers idly toying with her hair as she plotted her next move. A devious smile played across her lips as a new idea formed in her mind. She snapped her fingers, summoning a nearby servant.

“Bring Lilian to me,” she ordered with a cold, commanding tone. The servant bowed hastily and left the room to fulfill her demand.

Moments later entered the lavish room, her head bowed in submission. Samantha turned to face her, eyes gleaming with malicious intent.

“Prepare a glass of fruit juice for me. Make it fast!” Samantha demanded, her voice dripping with superiority.

Lilian lifted her chin slightly and threw a piercing look towards Samantha. “Why don’t you ask the servant for that, Samantha? Surely, that’s not my job.”

Samantha’s eyes narrowed, her lips curling into a wicked smirk. “Oh? You dare speak to your future Luna like that?” she spat, her voice rising with venom.

He was burning in rage like a wild beast ready to devour its prey.Lilian clutched her cheek, her fingers trembling from the shock of the assault. Why did he call her a murderer? She did not understand what was happening. "I did not do anything wrong, Alpha." Tears started to form in the corner of her eyes."Liar!" Another slap hit her face and so she staggered backward. "You gave Samantha a drink laced with a concoction, that caused miscarriage! It's all your fault!""That's not true!"Lilian felt her world collapsing around her—every word he said cut deeply into her soul. Tears streamed down her face as she pleaded for him to at least believe her."Alpha Morgan, I swear, I did not put anything on Samantha's drink.""And what are you tr

Aurora stood outside the grand doors of the Alpha's chambers, her heart pounding as she tried to calm the rising anxiety within her. The guards, tall and menacing, blocked her path, their arms crossed over their chests. She could feel their disdainful glares as they eyed her, a lowly omega, with little regard. But Aurora was like a mother to Lilian so she had to help her at any cost."Please," Aurora begged, her voice trembling but firm, "just give me a few minutes to speak with the Alpha. It’s important."One of the guards sneered, not even bothering to hide his contempt. "The Alpha doesn’t have time to listen to someone like you. You’re wasting your breath, Omega."Before Aurora could plead again, another voice sliced through the tension—sharp, arrogant, and dripping with disdain. "Who gave you permission to step foot on the doorstep of the Alpha’s chamber?"It was Samantha, her presence commanding attention as she approached with a slow, deliberate stride. Morgan paced restlessly in his chamber, his thoughts spinning in disbelief. Aurora’s revelation that Lilian was carrying his child echoed in his mind, a truth he hadn’t anticipated. How could this be? He had only shared one night with her, a moment of vulnerability and passion he thought would pass without consequence. And yet, here he was, facing the reality of her pregnancy.A wave of conflicted emotions surged through him. The idea of having a child with Lilian, of all people, was impossible to grasp. He could not accept having a child with someone whose bloodline was cursed, a woman whose very existence was tainted by dark magic that had been passed down through the generations. More than that, how could he ever forgive her for killing his and Samantha's child? The thought twisted like a dagger in his chest, reopening wounds he had tried to bury deep. That loss haunted him every day, and now Lilian—a woman he blamed for the death of his child—was expecting another. His child. The

Samantha stood on the terrace, her silhouette framed against the moonlight, a faint, triumphant smile tugging at her lips as she watched the guards approaching. Their hurried footsteps and bowed heads signaled respect—and fear. She reveled in it, savoring the moment of authority she’d long coveted. Becoming "Luna" held a power she’d only dreamed of, and now it was almost within her grasp. The first guard stepped forward, lowering his gaze as he spoke. “Mission accomplished, Luna. She fell off the cliff after I struck her with my blade.” His voice was steady, yet his eyes held a flicker of uncertainty, as if haunted by the memory of Lilian's final moments.Samantha’s smile widened, though her face remained impassive. “Good,” she replied, her voice as smooth as silk but laced with an edge that silenced any further questions. “Make sure this stays between us. Do you get it?"“Yes, Luna,” the guards responded in unison, casting one last nervous glance before retreating into the shadows.A

Morgan paced back and forth across his dimly lit room, his steps heavy and his thoughts tangled with regret. The scent of leather and old books surrounded him, but his focus was elsewhere—on Lilian and the guilt gnawing at him. “What have I done?” he whispered, as he closed his eyes while leaning on the couch. After a while. he grabbed a bottle of wine and chugged it in one go. He was hoping it would dull the ache in his chest. But the drink only seemed to deepen his regret. As he stared into the crimson liquid, memories of Lilian flooded his mind. That night when he kissed her and took her innocence. He shut his eyes, and for a moment, he could see her being dragged out by the guards. She had looked so small, so vulnerable, and he had turned his back on her. A sharp pang of regret twisted inside him, stronger than before. He ran a hand through his hair, gripping the glass tighter, almost to the point of breaking it.“I was a fool,” he muttered under his breath, feeling the weight

Early in the morning, before the first light of dawn began to break through the dense canopy surrounding the villa, Morgan stood at the balcony, shrouded in the cool mist that blanketed the grounds. He had barely slept. Guilt and regrets kept haunting his mind and heart which made him uneasy in each passing moment. Morgan called his most trusted Gamma guards, whose loyalty and devotion had been tested and proven over the years. They approached him quickly, their head bowed in respect. Their expressions were tinged with curiosity as it was not often for their Alpha to call on them especially at early hours except for very important matters. "Alpha, we are always here to serve you. Whatever your command, we will carry it with utmost dedication." “I want you to go to the forest,” he said, his voice low but firm. "Look for Lilian. She’s somewhere out there, and I need to know she’s... that she’s safe." The Gammas were caught off guard as they exchanged glances with one another. It

Lilian took a sigh of relief when she realized they were already outside the Balkans. She was certain the wolves would not go after them, so they were safe for now. However, her thoughts drifted on Morgan. She was certain it was him, but how did he know she was in the Balkans? The question lingered in her mind."Where are we going, dear?" Aurora asked."To Silverstone, Mom. I want you to meet my adoptive parents, and of course Liam. I'm sure he’d be happy to see you," Lilian replied."By the way, the one who helped us earlier was indeed a strong wolf. It reminded me of Alpha Morgan. But it could not be him. He went missing a year ago, and everyone in the pack believed that he was dead."Lilian was just silent while waiting for her mom to say something more. She could not tell her yet that Morgan also lived in Silverstone and was his neighbor.“Do you still remember him, dear?” Her mother’s question took her by surprise.“No, Mom,” she lied, though she knew it wasn’t true. “It was eigh

Lilian and Aurora were able to escape the packhouse, but they could not easily flee from the Balkans because the borders were heavily guarded by the Gamma guards. They had no choice but to stay in the dense forest for a while and wait for the right time to cross the borders. "I wish you hadn't come here, dear. It's better to remain a slave rather than putting your life in danger," Aurora said, her voice filled with concern. It all came back to him. He was Morgan Garren, the former Alpha of the Bluemoon Pack, unjustly stripped of his leadership. Accused of treason, he was cast into the dungeon and left to rot with no food and no water. The guards beat him mercilessly, day after day. Then, Declan, his loyal beta, saved him. Declan had given him a powerful herbal tea that would stop his breathing for hours. When everyone thought he was dead, he was buried on the ground, but Declan dug him up and took him away. He traveled far, sailing across the ocean until a massive wave struck his boat. He vanished without a trace. The next time he awoke, he was in a hospital bed, with no memory of his past, even his own name. Morgan was in the midst of his thoughts when his cellphone rang. It was his wife, Laura."Honey, are you on your way now?" she asked, her voice filled with concern."Uhm, yes...I'm on my way," he stammered. For now, it was better to keep this a secret. Laura had been a good wife to him and Jenny—
