Chapter Fifty Nine

ELYSIA'S POV

Time was ticking quickly, and I was equally running out of patience with the same proportion as I sat on my bed waiting up from the Alpha with my eyes glued to the clock. It's been moments since left the room to go for a walk, I could not help but wonder what was taking him so long to get back.

Or was he back already and was having a meeting with Nikolai and the elders?

I decided to wait for him for a while longer, and when he didn't show up after a while, I decided to go out and look for him.

At the same instant I set out of my room, I was immediately reminded of Lucius whose presence I had been forced to accept no matter how uncomfortable it was for me. I didn't try to argue with the Alpha about it again because no matter how I felt about it, the truth was that he just wanted me to be safe.

As usual, he followed right behind me as I set out to go look for the Alpha without saying a word to me, now even a word to ask where I was going, he just followed like a robot.
