“What are your plans for the weekend Logan?” Felix inquired as they walked together towards the car-park.

“What plan other than to finish up with the company’s task ahead of us. Our business must not lag, you know that right?” Logan responded diligently.

Logan and Felix are not only business partners, but childhood friends although Felix literally works for Logan who inherited his father's company, regardless they're best friends.

“You are so boring” Felix remarked, shaking his head.

“If prioritizing my company makes you think I'm boring, thank you” He said sarcastically as he placed his briefcase in the car boot.

“Take a chill break dude, c'mon” Felix obstructed him from opening the front door.

“What is it Felix?” Logan crossed his arm.

“Today is friday and do you know what’s popping in town?”

Logan shook his head apathetically.

“Club” Felix told him.

“I don't attend clubs” Logan retorted.

“But you will. You are definitely coming with me. C’mon loosen up alittle, don't be so dull”

“No, I am not dull. I’ve once wasted almost half of my life, partying and clubbing. I'm not going back to that kind of lifestyle” Logan barked.

“Oh sorry to break it to you, I'm only doing you a favour” Felix chuckled.

“What favour?” He furrowed his brows.

“Your Dad asked me if there's a woman in your life” Felix told him.

“He also asked you? I mean he brought up this issue the last time we spoke. Tell me Felix, have I gotten to that age where parents nags about settling down?”

“Well, I don't know Logan. All I know is that you haven't moved on ever since your last girlfriend dumped you”

“No, she didn't dump me. Heaven knows I loved her to the moon and back but she cheated and I was the one who ended the relationship” Logan tried to explain.

“Whatever, it's the same thing. She cheated because you are boring. Get a life Logan, you are such a workaholic”

Logan didn't argue any further.

“So you are coming with me to the club?” Felix asked again.

“Hmmn” He sighed.

“Trust me, there are beautiful and sexy women”

“Whatever” He mumbled. “Okay, you win” He agreed reluctantly and hopped into his car with Felix, through the other door.

They arrived at the loud club.

Neon lights flickered on the walls syncing with the vibrant display of light and sound.

Felix wasted no time to mingle with those swaying on the dance floor while Logan on the other hand settled at the bar corner, pressing his phone and gulping whiskey.

While Felix recieved a lap dance from a lady, he signaled to Logan to come join him on the dance floor but he ignored and also turned down the ladies that approached him.

“Hey handsome” A feminine voice lilted seductively, pulling Logan from his drink and phone.

He glanced up, uninterested, as a lady sidled up to him, standing akimbo.

He returned to his whiskey, muttering dismissively, “Let me be”

Undeterred, she came closer, flashing a coy smile. “Why come to a club if you’re not here for fun?” She seems persistent.

Logan snubbed her, with his gaze still fixed on his phone.

“And who comes to a club in a three-pieces suit?” She scoffed, mockingly trying to get his attention.

“I came directly from my office” Logan responded.

“Oh, I see you are businessman, a working class. Hmmn, I like your type” She smiled.

“Thank you” Logan mumbled, taking a sip of his whiskey, seemingly unfazed by the woman’s interest.

“I’m Allyson,” she said, offering a hand to shake.

Logan reluctantly met her gaze, seeing that she was a bit stubborn.

“Logan,” he responded coolly, his eyes flashing back to his phone.

“So what kind of business do you do Mr. Logan?” She asked, sitting next to him, really closely.

“Why do you care?” Logan scoffed, grabbing another bottle of whiskey.

Despite his annoyance, he could feel Allyson’s presence lingering next to him, close enough to feel her body heat.

“Oh, you’d be surprised.” She teased, tracing her finger across the rim of his glass. “A man like you—you’re not like the others. I can tell.”

Logan rolled his eyes, yet he couldn’t help but acknowledge that there was something intriguing about this woman. Something different.

She collected the bottle from him, helped him pour the wine into two glasses for both of them.

"Cheers," Allyson said, raising her glass to Logan's.

"Tell me, Logan," she said, her voice low and suggestive. "What do you do when you're not working? What do you do for fun?"

He drank from the glass and tried to shrug her off instantly; “See, I know your type and I know what you want Allyson. I am not interested”

Still, Allyson leaned in closer, her smile mischievous. “I want to spend a good time with you. I'm more interested in the man beneath the suits” She whispered, trailing her finger down his shirt-chest.

Logan felt himself growing tired and his sight becoming foggy.

She smiled mischievously and cupped his jaw, letting her lips hover inches away from Logan's, her warm breath all over his skin.

Logan broke the kiss as he tried to speak. “Did..did..you put something in my drink?” He tried to fight off the drowsiness, but it was no use. His eyelids grew heavy and he found himself nodding off at the bar, unaware of Allyson's cunning plan.

She closed the distance between them as she stood up and slung Logan over her shoulder and led him to the club’s dimly lit room.

Others were oblivious to what was happening between them, they minded their business because they looked like a couple even Felix couldn't come to his friend’s rescue because he also thought Logan had finally connected with a girl.

Logan tried to resist, but his mind was hazy, he couldn't think clearly, he felt his bones feeble and his mind start to droop. He tried to beg her to let him go, but his lips wouldn’t form the words, he groaned.

She laid him down on the bed and smiled satisfyingly, she deftly lifted his wallet from his back pocket, flipping through it, she smirked at the sizable sum of cash and credit cards.

She took her time, removing his phone, his keys, his expensive wrist watch and necklace.

It was a veritable gold mine for a thief like her, and when she was done, she silently slipped out of the room, leaving Logan alone and helpless.

Outside the room, Allyson coolly made her way to the exit, jostling and melting into the crowd.
