CILLIAN

The soft orange glow from the overhead light illuminated the bedroom, giving it a magical feel. Nothing else mattered. I watched Ciara picking at her food, taking small bites until her plate was finally cleared. As I watched her, I saw our future so clearly.

It was peaceful and calm. The world around us could fall apart, but as long as I had her, nothing else mattered. Ciara was my everything. I knew from the second I laid eyes on her when we were kids that I would do whatever she wanted and do whatever it took to give her the life she wanted.

If her heart was set on having kids, then I’d focus on that. If she wanted to build a life here in Moon Valley or skip off to Las Vegas, it didn’t matter. It was the knowledge that she was mine and I was hers that completed me.
