Chapter 2

Andrea

Today is first day of class and I woke up late so I didn't have time for breakfast.

I didn't see anyone at home when I came down because I was late. Why didn't they wake me up?

I hurriedly drove to school because I was late. Sh*t! Fortunately, there is no traffic.

~ School ~

"You're late for the first day of class, Smith!" The subject teacher said when I approached the front of our classroom.

"I'm sorry, ma'am." I answered while bowing.

"I'll let it slide now. But if you're late again next time, I won't accept you." She said in a calm voice.

"Thank you ma'am."

"There's only one seat available. Sit next to Anderson."

I nodded in response. I looked at the empty seat she said before I walked over to it.

I saw Alexa smiling at me so I nodded at her. I don't know that we're in a same class.

"I'm Asher." the man next to me introduce himself. I just looked at him then started listening to our teacher.

I'm not interested in such things. Introducing myself to a person that I just saw for the first time and talking inside the class.

A man named Asher did not stop carving. Annoying!

"Hey." He even laid his hand on me just to get my attention.

I angrily faced him and frowned. "What is your problem?" I annoyingly asked.

"Easy. I just want to know your name." He said.

"Why? What do you need?"

I can't listen properly because of this man. I can't concentrate on our lesson because he kept on disturbing me. He's so annoying.

"I want to be your friend." He replied.

"I don't need a friend."

"Please?"

"If you want us to be friends. Be quiet." I said then resumed listening.

Alexa approached me after our class. Break time.

"Andrea, come with us." she invites me.

"No, I'm fine. Enjoy yourselves." I refused.

I don't usually go to the cafeteria of this school every break time or lunch. I prefer to be in the library because that's the only quiet place here at school.

I was about to get up when he suddenly wrapped his arm around my arm.

"Please? How can we know about each other if you don't always come with me? We're friends, aren't we?" She insisted.

I just gasped. It looks like I have no choice but to go with her.

"You go first, I'll be there in a minute. I'll just put something in my locker." I said then arranged my belongings.

"See you!" She said goodbye while waving and left.

As I was walking to my locker I saw someone kissing on the side of the stairs.

"Even in school?" I whispered a question to myself as I looked at the two.

People don't really choose a place anymore. As long as they get what they want, they can go anywhere. Even in front of a lot of people, they will do that just to get by. Tss.

"Andrea here." Alexa calls me while waving her hand.

I approached their seat and sat down next to her. She was accompanied by two men and a woman.

They're maybe her friends. The woman was staring at me so I was staring at her too. She seems to be scanning me.

There are also foods on the table, it looks like I'm just what they're waiting for. "Eat." Alexa said.

I just took a sandwich then ate it.

"Andrea, I want you to meet my friends. This is Raia and Blake they were my friends and this is Tristan my boyfriend." she said.

"Nice to meet you." I said.

"Nice to meet you too." the woman said who was now smiling at me.

The two men raised their right hand in the air and smiled.

"Oh bro. Why did you come so late?" A man named Tristan asked the man who had just arrived.

He didn't care to answer and just sat in the empty seat next to Blake. He took food and it started to eat.

He looked to my side and gave a questioning look.

"Who is she?" He asked while not taking his eyes off me.

"Oh she's Andrea." Alexa introduced me.

"Why did you answer my question instead of her? Are you her now?" He asked sarcastically.

This one is crazy.

"I wasn't the one you asked. Your question was 'who is she?' It's not 'who are you?' so she thought they were the ones you were asking. " I speak.

He didn't speak and just ate again but he still didn't take his eyes off me.

"He's Alistair. He's my cousin."

Nice name, it doesn't suit him. He is Alexa and Shan's cousin? Seems vague.

I didn't pay attention to it anymore because I didn't care about him. I don't like him because I don't like his aura. Especially his habit that when someone asked him, he doesn't even bother to answer, tss.

He doesn't take his eyes off me so I gave him a questioning look.

"You have a problem?" I asked him.

"Nothing."

"Take your eyes off me before I get pissed." I threatened him and then drank the juice in front of me.

"What's your problem again?" I asked in annoyance. He's been like this for awhile. It pisses me off.

He nodded his head before speaking. "I remember you." He nodded and said.

What the hell is he saying? We just met each other now and then he'll say 'I remember you?' I frowned at him.

"You know her?" Alexa asked him.

"Yeah. She's the girl on the rooftop who hates parties." He said.

How can he ... Ahh ... That's why I've been disgusted with him from the beginning.

"You're the nosy guy?"

He just smiled at me and shrugged his shoulders. It's him. I'm sure of it, tss.

"Oh, Smith." Someone called my name so I looked where the voice is coming from.

It's the noisy man, tss. He approached me ang place his hand on my shoulder. He was accompanied by a man and a woman.

I guess they are his friends.

"Hands off." I said so he immediately removed it and raised his hands in the air as if surrendering.

"You can't even fight against a girl, bro?" Her male partner teased him.

The woman just laughed.

"Because I'm a gentleman." He said.

"Why are you so mad at me, Smith?" Frowning when he asked me.

"You're too loud." I replied irritatedly to him then I got up and left.

I said goodbye to Alexa and her companions for a moment before leaving.

That noisy man chased me. He has been doing this earlier. He has been annoying me since class.

He's annoying too much.

"What? Why are you following me?" I irritatedly asked him.

He stepped back a little before speaking. "Easy. I told you. I want to be friends with you." He said.

"I don't want you to be my friend." I answered him directly.

I hope that he will stop.

"Why?"

I close my eyes in annoyance because of this man's meanness. I don't want to waste my time on such useless things. Tss.

"Because you're noisy." I was about to walk when he suddenly blocked my path.
