I didn’t expect less from what my father had said. I already knew who he was and the fact that he would go to any length just to see that he gets what he wants.

“This is final. If you fail to do as I have said, you will have yourself to blame”, he had said with a clear tone that depicted a deep level of threat.

We all knew what he meant by that. It simply meant that Kayla could be killed if he wanted but our cooperation would determine what would happen.

Truth be told, I was lost at this point.
