I watch this Finn male and the Trinity female as they make their way closer to the female lying in the bed. I watch the female and hear her whimper just as the others do; I am a little surprised when this little female, even with her eyes still closed, turns her head and seems to face where I am in the shadows as if she knew and could see that I was there. She then whimpers, whispering,
“Master Jeremiah… Please, don’t leave me…”
I am a little confused when they don’t seem to hear her as they continue their conversation.

EMMA I whimper at the loss until I feel the bed move. I am then once again surrounded by his scent. Again I tilt my head, giving him more access to my neck, but again he doesn’t take the invitation. EMMAOver the course of the next few nights, I wake before sunset and, slipping on my servant’s dress, sneak out of the castle to the other castle ruins and down into that room.
