Being in hell wasn’t what I had expected. I had expected to bump into my mother at some stage and have her rub it in that she had succeeded. That she had managed to not only remove me from the kingdom but had managed to separate me permanently from my beloved, from My Emma.

Time wasn’t the same here, and I was always surprised when I never met up with my mother, but more than that, I would watch as others would come and go… It took me a while to work out that I wasn’t in hell... I was in Bardgatory.

Bardgatory, what we call our in-between, it's where we are sent before returning to Hell. For what would be classed as the Evil Royal families, it is the only place that they can be resurrected from. The death ceremony is the only thing that can speed up the process and send a Royal straight to hell.

After a while, I realised that if my mother wasn’t here, then they performed her death ceremony, but that meant that mine wasn’t and I let my temper boil, wondering what anyone would
