THIRD PERSON

In preparation for the ritual, Zane and Trinity head to the ancient ruin. Once there, they search for the entrance. Zane moves very quickly as Trinity takes a step and drops. Zane manages to grab Trinity’s hand, even though even if she had fallen to the ground it wouldn’t have killed her.

She would have, however, been badly hurt as the altar is right under the hole and she wouldn’t have been able to do the ritual. Zane pulls her out of the hole and back up into his arms, wrapping them around her tightly and burying his head in her neck. Trinity wraps her arms around him and they stay like that until their hearts start to calm.

When Trinity pulls back, she places a kiss on his lips, which he takes over, making it more dominant. When Zane pulls back, they are breathing heavily once more, Zane moves one of his hands to her cheek and whispers,

“I love you, Trinity. However, you really need to be more careful.”
