THIRD PERSON

Benjamin looks up into Trinity’s eyes, and as a tear slides down his cheek, he whispers,

“I thought I was… I thought I could…. But I am no better than them…”

“You love her?”

“With everything in me and more."

Even after Adonis confirmed that no matter what he did, without Prince Jeremiah, Emma was not going to live much longer, he says.

"I thought that if I could get her to be mine, then we wouldn’t have a need for him to return…”

“But?”

Benjamin sighs, “I have been patient for so long wanting and waiting for her to choose me, I know she loves me or at least a version of it but in the end, I couldn’t hold on and like fate, I didn’t give her a chance to make her own choice…”

Trinity looked at him with concern as she says,

“Ben, what did you do?”

Benjamin slams his fists on the ground next to him and gets to his feet, he had been hoping to be on the verge of death before Trinity had gotten to the ruins and then he would be too out of it to have to explain himself to anyone.
