Ember's POV

My stomach rumbled loudly, hunger pangs getting the best of me and all that i could think of at that time was the fact that there was probably no way for me to escape anymore.

The sound of a gate opening alerted me and I looked up. It was Ellie again. What was she doing in the pack for too long? Was she going to be Trent's new wife.

She clicked her tongue. "Oh, how the mighty falls. This is very saddening. I don't think that i ever imagined you being in this situation. You are going through hell and I don't envy you at all." She grinned.
