Chapter 6

On stage, Chris addressed the audience with excitement. “Today is the day my company goes public. I’ve spent the last three years preparing for this, and today, it’s finally happening.

“And I’ve got a PowerPoint presentation to show you all my hard work over the years.”

But before he could finish speaking, the screen behind him suddenly flickered to life, playing a video.

“Die!”

In the video, Chris’s face twisted with rage as he violently threw a tiny baby to the ground.

Then, another video started.

The scene was the same, but the baby was different.

There were four videos in total, each one showing him killing my children.

The crowd erupted in shock, and the reporters went wild, their cameras flashing non-stop.

The blood drained from Chris’s face as he froze in place.

I covered my mouth, sobbing.

“My children... so it was you who killed them.”

In an instant, the reporters understood everything. They rushed forward, bombarding Chris with questions.

“Mr. Quinn, are those yo
