Chapter Eleven - Woke up

“You will die here!”

“You will never be happy!”

“You are mine!”

My eyes shut wide open before I rose from the bed I was sleeping in. Sweats were forming on my forehead.

Nightmares, they’re finally visiting me now. I blinked my eyes several times and remembered what happened at the hotel.

“A-Am I healed? Was I poisoned?” Confused, I touched myself, “Did I reincarnate again?”

My eyes wandered down to my body. I was wearing a comfortable nightgown, and a dextrose line was attached to my wrist.

I looked around and noticed that the room did not look familiar, “Where the hell am I?” I bit my lower lip before pushing myself to stand up.

The door suddenly swung open and revealed to me Alex, whose silver eyes widened when he saw me.

“I-I um—Alexander?” My breathing hitched when he rushed towards me to hug me tight as if he had lost me for ages.

“You were sleeping for days, thank goodness you’re awake,” he whispered as if he was so worried about me.
