Elena’s POV

Phila smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "You know what would be great right now? A coffee. Why don't we go to that new coffee shop down the street and hang out a bit?"

I nodded, feeling a sense of relaxation wash over me. "That sounds perfect, Phila. I could use a break from all this scheming."

Phila chuckled, standing up from her chair. "I know exactly what you mean. Let's go."

We walked to the coffee shop, enjoying the warm sunshine on our skin. Inside, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped us, making our mouths water.

"What's your poison?" Phila asked, scanning the menu.

"Just a plain old latte for me," I replied, smiling.
