Alexis's POV
I kept looking at Alpha Kane, trying hard not to talk. My mind was still going over his last words, the fact that I had been wearing his dead wife’s clothes this entire time. It was disturbing on so many levels, but I forced myself to push the thought aside. There was nothing I could do about it and what could I say to him exactly.
At least now he is planning on taking me shopping. Telling him I wasn't interested in going with him was going to fall on his deaf ears.
I took a deep breath and asked, “Where are we going for the shopping?”
Alpha Kane took a sip of his drink, he was really into the meal unlike me, I was only picking at the food.
