"She did what?!”

When the echo of my loud voice came back into my ears, I then realized I had screamed.

"The last three days have been going so well, she believes whatever we're doing is going to last forever.”

Rain's voice was still calm, despite my nostrils breathing hot air into his face.

"Oh my God," I sang with a mocking tone and a loud cackle. "How delusional is that crazy bitch?”

I was still struggling with keeping my voice under control, I simply gave up and just let myself yell. It was my apartment anyway. Just then, Maya walked past me into her bedroom. That was the convincing I needed to lower my voice. She was the last person that needed to know about what was going on.
