Chapter:- 2

The sky has turned to a pinkish orange hue as the sun sets in the distance. Alex slows the jiski to a stop. This view, this beautiful moment should be captured on film. Alex takes out my camera and starts snapping.

"Are you going to take a picture of me too?" Ashly whispers to Alex's ear, using a sweet and gentle tone that she has never used with him before. Alex is not really sure why Ashly is like this, but he really likes it. It's just the two of them are here, he might as well enjoy it, so Alex nod.

Alex turns around and takes several shots of Ashly against the remaining light of the setting sun. Her pictures look beautiful. She is beautiful, and Alex loves her. He always has.

"Can you take some using the GoPro? I want to see how the photos look," Ashly orders him and Alex follows. He always liked these things about Ashly. He knows what Ashly wants, and he knows how Ashly actually is.

Politely blunt and very dedicated to what she sets her mind on.

Ashly abruptly pulls Alex closer to her-- Ashly's face is so close to Alex and Alex really has to hold himself back from kissing her. Ashly tells him to take a selfie. And Alex did, he took several.

Ashly then offers to take Alex's picture. Well as much as Alex loves her, he never really trusted Ashly photography skills but he still allows his stupid omega best friend to take a few. Surprisingly, the pictures look decent and some are actually good.

"Looks like you've been practicing. Love this one," Alex proudly shows her the photo with rays of remaining sunlight highlighting his eyes.

"I love this one too." Ashly says, smiling and looking towards him with so much warmth and fondness. Why hasn't Alex seen this before? Has he been a fool for being scared all this time?

Alex turns away as he feels his cheeks heating up from this unexpected moment. Confused about what to do next, he starts the engine and turns the handles. Ashly reaches for his hand from behind him and turns the jetski off. Alex turns to look at her to ask what she's doing, and just then, she tenderly kisses Alex's lips...

... Ashly kisses him.

....On his fucking lips.

"Wait, aren't we going to talk about what just happened?" Alex demanded.

Ashly just approaches him, leans in and says, "what's there to talk about? I like you, isn't that enough?", then Ashly plants a gentle kiss on Alex nose before nudging him with his golf club.

Ashly invited Alex to play golf for a bit before they eat dinner, since the Japanese Omakase-style restaurant Ashly wants to eat at doesn't open until an hour later. Ashly is craving for uni sashimi, and Alex just about down with anything Ashly likes to eat, since Ashly has very good taste for food.

Alex swings my club and hit the ball. It goes far, but it ends up in the bunker. Alex scratches his head, while Ashly mockingly claps her hands and exclaims, "not bad, not bad."

Ashly takes her shot and the ball lands on the green. She glances at Alex with a smirk and Alex fake-kicks her buttocks.

"Ready to lose?" Ashly teases.

Alex sticks out his tongue at her. He really knows how to bring out his childish competitive side.

"You know that you have an unfair advantage, right?'' Alex complains while they walk towards the hazard where his golf ball fell into earlier.

"Oh, don't worry. Whether I win or lose, you're going to get a prize from me," Ashly teases again and ruffles Alex's hair.

Alex pushes him off then he gets into position to hit the golf ball. Before he gets to swing his club, Ashly stands behind him and reaches through to hold his hands.

"Hold the golf club like this and give it a little upswing as you hit the ball. Try it." Ashly lets go of Alex's hands, which are now sweating profusely.

Alex swings and he completely misses the ball!

"You're cheating!" Alex frowned at his best friend.

Ashly gives him a quizzical look. "How is that cheating, huh? I was even helping you!"

"You did that on purpose!" Alex argues.

"Did what?"

"What?"

"That!"

"I was teaching you how to do it! What's wrong with that?"

Frustrated, Alex rolled my eyes. "Uh...aaargh! Let's just go so that you can take your turn already."

"Oh, there, there, don't cry." Ashly ruffles Alex's hair again and mischievously whispers, "you can cry later though...in bed!"

Alex smacks her head, and they both laugh out loud.

"I'm so full!" Ashly collapses on the bed and he pulls Alex with her.

"That was an awesome dinner! Thanks!" Alex beam at Ashly and she proudly smiles back at Alex. Alex loves it when she smiles, the way she squints her eyes and her cute teeth showing. She has the best smile, and it makes him happy to see her like this.

"Sing me a song, Alex."

"That's so out of the blue."

"Please?" Ashly pleads as both of them came back to sitting position.

Alex gives in. For Ashly, he always does. "What song do you want to hear?"

"Any would do. I just want to listen to your beautiful voice."

"Beautiful? Really now?" Alex chuckle.

"Just take the compliment, will you!" Ashly orders as she playfully punches Alex arm.

"Okay, okay, here goes:

Alex stare into her eyes. "Ashly, I, I've been meaning to tell you. I...li...I lik--"

Ashly cuts him off as she leans in and kisses Alex, hard. Ashly cups Alex face with her delicate fingers and they continued to kiss with so much intensity and passion that it scares Alex little. She gently pushes Alex down on the bed and proceeds to kiss him on the neck, nipping every now and then at my warm skin.

"Wait, Ashly, this is a bit too fast, don't you think so?" Alex pulls back from her a little.

Ashly just hushes him and then proceeds to unbutton Alex shirt before removing her own top. Alex can feel her fingers exploring his body. Ashly every stroke sends ripples of electricity through Alex nerves, leaving a trail of goosebumps on Alex bare skin.

Alex keeps his eyes closed. Alex can't bring himself to open his eyes-- scared that if I do, everything will just disappear.

"Alex, I love you," Ashly softly whispers as she unzips Alex pants.

'Wait a minute, isn't Alex is an Alpha and Ashly is his omega. It means he need to be in top not Ashly. And Ashly is shy person then how the hell she become........ Oh shit!'

Chest heaving and catching Alex breath when he realize everything now, he softly say "I----"

Alex opens his eyes with a searing pain on his head.

"Bro, wake up! You've been moaning and giggling in your sleep. What were you dreaming about?" Ashly stands beside the bed holding a carrot shaped pillow. "Sorry, I had to hit you with this one. You weren't waking up; I got freaked out a little bit."

The disoriented Alex stares at Ashly, looks around the call room and back at him again.

"What's happening?" Alex finally got hoe voice to ask.

"You were dreaming, dude. Looks like it was an intense one." Ashly teases, smirking.

Still confused, Alex shakes his head and rubs his eyes. stuttering, "Wai-W- What?"

Ashly drags him from the bed and says, "come on, bro! Get a grip. We need to go to the endorsement conference now. Bro, I want to go home early so that I could sleep. I'm going out on a date tonight," Ashly says excitedly.

That finally woke Alex up.

'Waking up sucks, waking up sucks sometimes...'

Alex phone vibrates again. He doesn't look at it. After taking a bath and sleeping for five hours when he got home from their endorsement rounds, he started playing with his PS5. He wanted to drown out his thoughts with the unfolding story of the character in his video game. But if he's being honest, he still can't stop thinking about his dream, and how badly he wanted everything to be real.

The phone vibrates again...and again and again.

This pattern of messages and calls could only be one person. Alex answers the call with palms sweating. He clears his already dry throat before saying, "What do you want?"

"Alex, can you help me? I need you to pick me up at my place," Ashly says, frantic.

Confused, Alex asks, "I though you're going on a date? Why do I have to pick you up? Where's your car? Or your stupid Alpha bot going to pick you up"

"Dude, my car battery died! If I don't leave now, I won't make it to the resto in time. And he is not my Alpha, he is just my date"

'Yes, Because I am your Alpha, but you don't want to accept it' Alex think to himself and he can't believe Ashly seriously asking him to bring Alex to his stupid date!' Alex rolls his eyes.

"Please?"

Ashly pleads again, "please?"

"Fine! Just give me 10 minutes, I'll just change. I'm just dropping you off, right?"

"Can you at least wear something nice? Don't come wearing shorts and a sleeveless shirt."

"Yeah, yeah. I might as well enjoy the night on my own and eat somewhere nice. Give me money though. That's how you're paying for my topnotch chauffeur services. My dinner."
