It's Me
"Mmm..." Ruby struggled more frantically, trying to swing the lamp again, but her hand was restrained.
"I might be crazy, but swinging that lamp around so fiercely makes you look even sexier."
A low whisper brushed Ruby's ear. A voice that was all too familiar immediately made her entire body go weak. As soon as the hand released her, she collapsed.
"Don't scream, Ruby. AJ will wake up." Ed, who had also sat down on the floor beside Ruby, whispered with a teasing tone, then silenced Ruby's lips—this time with his own—before she could shout in anger.
Ruby's anger subsided slightly with a moist kiss.
"I missed you, Cariño." Ed whispered while caressing Ruby's cheek, which slowly reddened—not just with relief but also with anger.
"What's wrong with you?!" Ruby pounded Ed's chest repeatedly—with her hands alone, of course, and no longer with the lamp.
Ed laughed silently, letting Ruby vent her frustration.
