Somebody Coming

"That's impossible! Impossible!" Liz screamed at the top of her lungs. She even looked like she wanted to break through the bars to see more clearly, but what Ed showed her was already clear. The news wasn't lying. That was why her father was silent and completely unreachable.

"Had enough?" Ed asked again, replaying the video. He was enjoying the sight of Liz screaming in disbelief.

"That's it. I guess now you understand why I said your father was completely useless." Ed smiled as he watched Liz shake her head and collapse onto the prison floor. She clutched her head with both hands, perhaps wanting to deny the reality, but of course, that was impossible.

"A letter will come for you in a few days. In the meantime, feel free to cry here. Indulge yourself. Who knows? Maybe you can fill this cell with your tears and drown in them."
