Chapter One Hundred And Twenty Five

Adriana’s POV

My body shook violently, I could feel it spasm but oddly, I couldn’t move an inch. My body was as if it was being weighed down by something extremely heavy; I felt trapped and to worsen it all, it was dark out.

“Help,” I croaked out but my voice could only come out as harsh whispers.

With the last ounce of strength left in my body, I snapped my eyes open and glanced around the dark room. My heart picked up a quick pace when I noticed that I couldn’t see anything and in fear, I sat up.

My eyes blurred as soon as I tried to sit up on the platform that closely resembled a bed and in desperation, I had to cling onto the bed frame, to stop myself from toppling over.

Tears instantly welled up in my eyes, and with it came an extremely sore throat that I felt my throat would burst into tiny pieces due to how dry it was.
