Chapter One Hundred And Thirty One

Adriana’s POV

“Gina! Please open the door!” Massimo yelled out worriedly. It’s been about thirty minutes since Gina locked herself in and every attempt to get her out of there seemed furtive. I was beginning to become really worried.

I banged on the thick door a few more times but it still wouldn’t budge, and with a new kind of fear settling at the back of my heart, I looked up at Massimo.

“Are there no spare keys?” I asked him and to my utter bewilderment, he shook his head.

“There used to but I have no idea if they still exist or not. I have seen any of those in a long time.” He murmured under his breath, changing his position so that he could begin to hit the door with his shoulders but no matter the amount of force used, the door just wouldn’t bulge.

“What do we do now?” I cried out desperately, almost tugging on my hair in frustration. I wasn’t sure why but I had a bad feeling about her being locked up in there.

Deep down, I knew that she was in danger, a self-constructed danger,
