I saw Annelise's text that said she was going to the former house for something while I was in the meeting. I couldn't reply or call her right then as they were very important clients.

But I knew that for her to have gone back to the house, it must be for something important. When I was done with the meeting, I dialed her number, but she wasn't picking up.
