Ethan's POV

One of my men was standing before me, looking really uncomfortable.

"You still haven't said anything. Do you mind leaving now?" I asked him after he just stood there.

He sighed loudly. “There's an update concerning the accident from that night,” he said.

I lifted up my head from the work I was doing. “What's the update?" I asked him, trying not to look like I was anxious and really wanted to know what he wanted to say.

“We found out that Ken was at the scene of the accident, and I also got an eyewitness who was there. He said he only knows that the victim of the accident was in a coma.”

"The eyewitness knows that?” I asked.

"Yes, he said the accident was pretty severe. He heard from a few people later that she's in a coma,” he replied.

This just keeps getting even more serious. I can't remember driving that night, much less hitting someone. Besides, I didn't know that I was in the car with Ken normally.

All I know is that for him to have lied that she was dead, he has been
