Mr. Justin, his wife, and their son had gotten back home from the hospital. The doctor had said that all was well but that the young boy really needed to be taken care of.
The parents were in a better phase mentally, but Justin hadn’t expected another setback that soon.
He showed the photos to Stacy, who looked at them wordlessly for a while before she suggested that Jenifer should be taken to a rehab center.
“Keep an eye on her. We will be there as soon as we can,” he told Rick into the phone.
Katherine had promised to be by Melanie when she broke the news to her parents. They had taken their supper but were sited, waiting for their parents to come back home.
“They will be here very soon. You have to keep calm,” Katherine tried reassuring Melanie.
In reality, she was assuring herself. She was tense as though she was the one expecting, and that made her realize that she was afraid of her parents.
