“Today more than ever. I wish she was here. A lot of things would have been easier to handle,” Yasike said while looking at her with a small smile, as if he was aware what she was going to say next.
“I need your help,” Esther said while looking at him with helplessness, “ I am sorry but I really need you to do something for me.”
She was sorry she had a lot on her plate at that moment that she hadn’t asked Yasike what had been bothering him.
“I thought so,” he answered, smiling as he got up and dressed fully to get Gray.
After their training, he had given Gray some of his clothing to be used as a disguise.
“I owe you,” Esther said.
Saying the statement at that time, she had not known that she would have to repair all of Yasike’s favor sooner than she thought. She also didn’t know that the favor would threaten to break their family.
