Willow’s POV The rest of the ride to Crescent Moon was, to say the least, an interesting one. Damon was forced to the front seat by Alpha Shawn, who sat in the back seat between Izzy and I as Alpha Chance continued to drive. I could tell that Alpha Chance wanted Alpha Shawn to drive while he sat in the back with me, but he also knew that after Alpha Shawn had kicked Damon from the back seat that it wasn’t a good idea for the two of them to be in the front seat together. Izzy had her work cut out for her in convincing her brother to accept her mate. I honestly think Alpha Shawn would have reacted this way whether it would have been Damon or someone else. It was crazy how protective he was of her but I honestly didn’t know what may have happened to cause this. Finally, we made it to Crescent Moon and the ride felt like it had taken forever even though it was only an hour or so from the diner. As we all made our way out of the SUV, I made sure to keep ahold of Alpha Shawn’s hand so
Willow’s POV It didn’t take long for the three of us to find Alpha Caleb and our mates. They had finished securing the boarders and were gathering in front of the packhouse. I was happy to see that Damon was still alive and that Alpha Shawn hadn’t killed him, but right now that was the least of my problems as I needed to know if there was any truth to the words that Luna Ella had just spoke to me about. Alpha Shawn was the first to notice something wasn’t right and he came running to me. Ever since the day that we met he was always the one to notice the difference in my emotions and I chalk that up to the fact that we were both in a bad place when I first got to Red Moon. “What is wrong?” He asks me and I didn’t know how to explain to him what was going on, so I just said to him, “I need to speak to Alpha Caleb.” Alpha Caleb heard me say his name and he rushed to me concerned about Luna Ella. “Is Luna Ella, okay?” He asked with concern and I could see that he looked so worn out
Willow’s POV Thankfully the loud bang we had heard was just Sal and a few of the Sun Witches that had come to Crescent Moon in the back lawn practicing their fire magic. One of the younger Witches accidently hit one of the gardening sheds and everything that was in the shed was all over the back yard now. “Seriously Sal! We thought that the war was upon us.” Alpha Reese yelled at him. “Sorry, he’s a newbie.” Sal yelled back and Luna Rayne began to laugh. I knew her power stemmed from fire, and I wonder how bad her first time was trying to control it. “Excuse me, but it looks like Sal may need a little help in the training field.” Luna Rayne said as she left the back patio to join Sal with the Sun Witches. Alpha Caleb just shook his head and said, “Make sure to clean the mess up.” Before he turned and said to Luna Ella, “Lets take you up to bed for a nap.” As he then wrapped an arm around her and escorted her back into the house. Luna Ella gave me a look and I knew what she w
Chance’s POV The surge of power that Willow released to us coursed through my veins and I never felt so strong and superior in my life. But that feeling was short lived when I saw Willow’s body lying limp on Alpha Shawn’s chest. Alpha Shawn’s arms were wrapped around her, and we were both now calling to her hoping and praying to the Moon Goddess that she was alright. I was the first to break the connection as I slowly pulled my cock from within her and moved to her side. “She is breathing.” Alpha Shawn finally tells me, calming me slightly. “What the hell just happened?” I asked him, hoping he knew as I remembered his wolf back at Red Moon glowing with the same light that had just filled the room when we all came together but dispersed when Willow fell forward onto his chest. “I don’t know how to explain it other than she gifted us with her power. She must have given too much to us.” Alpha Shawn says as he runs his hands over the bare flesh of her back. It was evident the lo
Willow’s POV The sounds of howls awakened me and I realized I was alone in bed and night had fallen upon us. Another howl comes and I know right away that it was Alpha Chance’s and worry spreads through me like a knife that my mates are in trouble. Quickly, I moved to get out of bed and partially dressed to make my way outside to see where the howls were coming from. Making my way downstairs, I realize everyone is in a state of chaos and I know that Alpha Hunter has made his way onto Crescent Moon’s pack lands. More howls now came but they weren’t from my mates but from other wolves I am sure are on patrol as they signal for help. Luna Rayne comes rushing to my side and asks, “Do you think it’s Alpha Hunter?” Before I could answer her another howl came and this time it was Alpha Chance once again. I rushed towards the door hoping to hear another howl, so I knew which direction it was coming from. Luna Rayne followed me and the two of us stood outside the front door listening f
Willow’s POV Days have passed as I am told that I am on bed rest because I over did it using my magic to save Alpha Hunter. Luna Ella and Luna Rayne have both come to visit me while I lay in this dang bed until I get the okay to move. Even though I don’t want to listen to the doctor, I do so for the pup that I carry within me. My heart aches knowing that Alpha Shawn is missing once again and this time it kills me more now that we are mated. I know now how Luna Ella was feeling when the Moon Witch had Alpha Hunter under her control and I can only lay here and pray that the Alphas are doing all they can to find him. It was early in the afternoon I believe on day three of my bed rest when there was a knock on my door and then the door opened. I was shocked to see Alpha Hunter standing in front of me. “Willow, may I speak with you?” He asks and I am so shocked to see him in my room, I just shake my head yes. He walked the rest of the way in, leaving the door ajar behind him as he
Chance’s POV We were finally back at Red Moon and the pack had cleaned up most of the mess that had occurred in the back yard, leaving hardly anything to show that the start of the war against the Moon Witch happened here on our lands. The Rogue’s tent was set back up and I was happy to see that the she wolf that I had saved was healed and with her pups. Anna gave me a kind smile and a nod of her head to show me her gratitude as I continued to inspect the progress that was being made in my absence. The other Alphas were all in my meeting room going over the maps. Damon thankfully knew many areas that we should search in the north and he was right now showing Alpha Hunter all those areas. I honestly didn’t think I would ever see the two of them work together but after Alpha Hunter found out that Damon was right by my side protecting the wolves from the Moon Witch and him, he has had a change of heart with Damon. I could tell there is the tiniest bit of precaution still, but that is
Willow’s POV I was beginning to think that I had done something wrong. Alpha Chance hadn’t touched me in days since Alpha Shawn had gone missing and I was starting to believe that he was having second thoughts about me being his Luna now that I had taken Alpha Shawn as a mate too. Even after the doctor had cleared me at Crescent Moon, he had not touched me that night after dinner. Now standing here talking to him back at Red Moon, I knew it was time that I made the first move to see if he still wanted me. I let out a yelp as he picked me up and carried me to our room and I realized at that moment that he wanted me just as badly as I wanted him, but I couldn’t understand why he refrained from taking me. Once in our bedroom and the door was shut, Alpha Chance slammed his lips into mine, like he had been starving for days. I could finally feel his need for me through our bond and it was as strong as my own need for him. When I was on the brink of passing out from the lack of oxygen
Willow’s POV A few days have passed since we sealed the Moon Witch in her realm and thankfully Celeste has kept in contact with me and she is doing well. She has decided to stay with Ash for the time being and plans on visiting Alpha Hunter so she can get to know him. What Luna Ella did for her that day showed that she accepts Celeste into their family and I hope that Celeste will give her the chance to become a stepmother to her. Which leads me to what is to happen to myself today. My nerves were on edge, knowing that I was going to meet my real father today. Alpha Chance and Alpha Shawn have continuously reassured me that I have nothing to worry about but I can’t help worrying about being rejected by him, like I had been with the man that had raised me all those years. I wanted nothing more than to have a parent that would accept me for who I am. As I sat outside on the back patio at the table, I had to wonder what he looks like and if he would accept me after he sees how much
Willow’s POV It took no convincing on my part to get Luna Rayne to allow us to borrow her moonstone. In fact, she was even willing to help in any way possible she could with her own moon magic because Celeste was Sal’s brother’s mate and she didn’t want her friend’s little brother hurting. When I returned to Sal’s lair, I had Luna Rayne in tow with me and Sal looked happy to see her. “I hear we have a rescue mission. Count me in.” Luna Rayne tells Sal and he smiles at his friend knowing that she has his back too. “Thank you, Luna Rayne.” Alpha Hunter says to her and she gives him a smile and says, “Ridgewood will always have your back and the Sun Witches. We are more of a family then just neighboring communities and I want happiness for us all.” Luna Rayne couldn’t have said it better and she would have been a wonderful High Priestess of our Covenant but that was taken from her. It was okay because she chose to be a Luna instead with her mate Alpha Reese. I’m starting to belie
Willow’s POV To say that I felt sated by my mates as we all fell asleep holding each other last night was an understatement. I had needed both of my mates, not just in mind, but also in body and soul after what had happened to Celeste. I needed to know that we were all here together and I had them here safe with me. As I woke up this morning, all I could think about was Celeste and what I could do to bring her back here to us. The look on Ash’s face last night told me that he wasn’t going to let that realm be closed with her in it but he was only one warlock standing against his Covenant and I knew he didn’t stand a chance on his own. Slowly getting out of bed so as not to disturb my mates, I quickly got dressed and headed to find Ash. Getting out of the house undetected was easy, due to the fact that everyone was still asleep from last night’s events. When I opened the door to the house, I was surprised to see that Ash was sitting on the steps staring at the spot where Celeste h
Chance’s POV I had been waiting in the shadows of the night, with Sal, behind Alpha Hunter, just in case the Moon Witch got passed him with Celeste, but I never imagined that they would have disappeared in thin air. “I thought you said that the Moon Witch’s powers wouldn’t work here.” I said to Sal in complete shock. Before he could answer me, I heard my mate screaming, and knew I had to get to her. Appearing from the shadows, I raced towards Willow who was now in Shawn’s arms, as he tried to comfort her. Willow kept crying out “No” as Shawn held her close and rubbed her back. “The Moon Witch didn’t take her.” A younger man said from beside Willow, and I knew this had to be Sal’s brother, and Celeste’s mate, Ash. “What do you mean the Moon Witch didn’t take her. I saw it with my own eyes.” Alpha Hunter said as he moved over towards us. “Celeste took her.” Ash says and Sal comes up behind me and says, “He’s right. Celeste had to of been the one that took her. The Moon Witch’s
Willow’s POV I must have fallen asleep in Alpha Shawn’s arms after he had made love to me. The connection that we shared here was more than I ever could have imagined having with him and we finally had the chance to open our hearts to each other. We were no longer two broken souls because we had mended the pieces of each other’s hearts back together. As I began to stir in his arms, he pulled me in closer to him and kissed the top of my forehead. It seems that both of us had needed a nap and he was just waking up too. “I could get used to this.” He said as he held me close to him. I wasn’t going to lie, it felt amazing being in his arms right now after we had been fighting the connection between the two of us for so long now. “Does that mean we will be sharing a room when we get back home?” I asked him, wondering if he was finally going to spend the whole night with me. “Things are different now and I promise once we get back to Red Moon the three of us are going to sit down an
Chance’s POV After the Lunas and pups had left for the Sun Witches’ home, we began to prepare for the worse. There was a good chance that the Moon Witch would return, especially since Celeste was still here in our world. Alpha Hunter wasn’t taking any chances and he had every wolf he had posted around the packhouse as the Sun Witches and a few of the Canyon Ridge Witches put up wards around the premises waiting for her to show her face. When everything was in place Alpha Hunter and I stood guard together waiting for her on the front stoop of the packhouse. Night was falling and we had gotten word that the Lunas and pups had safely reached the Sun Witches’ town and were safe for the night. A bit of relief filled me knowing that Willow was safe and that Shawn was with her. A part of me was jealous that he was there with her, but I knew I had to be here with Alpha Hunter to protect not only Willow but all wolf kind. It was an oath that I had taken and an oath that an Alpha took serio
Shawn’s POV I had my own mate on my mind, and needs that I wanted to fulfill with her since the car ride here. There was no way I was going to be dealing with Alpha Hunter’s daughter finding her mate and the best man for the job would be Alpha Caleb since he is kind a stepfather to her. Regardless, I had one thing on my mind and that was to get to a room alone with my mate. As we got to the second floor, I guided Willow down the hallway to the last room on the right-hand side. My reasoning for doing so was because I wanted as much privacy with my mate as possible, with the things I wanted to do to her. The need to be with her has been overwhelming since we mated and I can’t put it off much longer, as my body aches to be with her and so does my heart. The small touches and kisses aren’t enough and I need to be buried deep inside her and feel the ultimate connection between the two of us. Opening the door, Willow stepped inside and we both took in the king sized bed in the center
Willow’s POV Alpha Shawn kept stealing glances of me on the way to the Sun witches’ Covenant and I had to smile knowing that he was doing this, and I could feel the bond between us humming away. I was happy to hear that he would be accompanying us but really wished that both of my mates would be here with me now. Since Alpha Shawn and I mated we hadn’t gotten alone time together and I really looked forward to spending the night with him. I could tell by what I sensed from him that he too was looking forward to the night we would be spending together alone. “How much longer before we get there?” Celeste asks from the back seat breaking the silence in the SUV. Alpha Shawn looks in the rear-view mirror at her, before he says, “We should be there within the hour.” Celeste let out a sigh and I turned slightly in my seat to look at her. I could tell that she wasn’t used to riding in a vehicle and I wondered if she was getting car sick, from her pale appearance. “Are you feeling, o
Chance’s POV Knowing that Willow was going to stay with Celeste made me feel at ease knowing what we were about to do. Neither one of them needed to be around when we seal the Moon Witch in her realm hopefully forever. The Moon Witch has caused enough heartache for us to last a lifetime and I can’t wait till this is all over with and we can take Willow back to Red Moon and start our family together. A large group of us moved to the meeting room to discuss how we were going to trap the Moon Witch in her own realm. Once everyone was in the room Alexandra, Luna Rayne’s mother, began to tell us about the spell that Joshua used to trap her and her mate in the realms they were in. On the way here she had made some adjustments to the spell and she began to show Sal. “Sal, do you think it will work?” Alpha Hunter asks him and Sal begins to shake his head before he says, “Yes, but we will need to do the spell when the sun is at its highest peak, to draw this much power. It’s too late tod
