"So, where is she now?" I asked, but Calvin had nothing to say.

After his accident, it was like Ella had just disappeared. No one heard from her again.

I let out a sigh. "I didn't want to fight with you to see who was better. You thought you were on top of the world and could have any girl you wanted. Ella, that beautiful young college girl, was head over heels for you. However, I bet you didn't know how many guys she had been with behind your back."

My words hit Calvin like a ton of bricks. He shouted at me, shocked and mad, "No way! You're making stuff up!"

I ignored his tantrum. I just felt sad for myself. "Maybe there was a woman who loved you, who would've done anything for you, but you pushed her away."

It did not take long for him to see I was telling the truth.
