I let the news of our divorce slip out first. Once it got around, our company's investments and projects started to have problems. The company's stock price plummeted without the Campbell family's backing, wiping out its market value.

Calvin looked upset. "Josephine, what are you doing? This is your company, too. Are you out of your mind?"

Then he talked about the company, thinking I would stay just for the company's sake.

Sure enough, he said, "We're tied together in business. This kind of thing happens all the time in our world—"

I could not help but laugh. "If both of us had agreed, you could call it an open marriage. However, you were the one who cheated."

Ella was the first to lose her composure.

As long as I had not split from Calvin for good, she could not relax. She was scared I was not over Calvin and started stirring up drama.

Since Calvin took her to one fancy dinner, she had been acting all high and mighty.
