“I will do everything in my power to raise you without help from that vicious man!” Emily shouted in anger like a fuming dragon on loose.

“You always want to take control!” Jeremy shouted back.

“ALRIGHT!!” yelled Daisy, who couldn’t take their nonsense anymore.

“I can see where this conversation is going and I don’t need to hear any more family drama” She groaned in anger and looked at Jeremy,

“Jeremy, I know it’s not my place to speak but Emily is right here. That man has only come your home to curse your parents for no reason” Daisy said sincerely and turned towards Emily,

“Stop shouting too much and try to explain things to your brother. Anyways, move back, let me take a good look at your outfit”

Emily moved back. She was wearing a grey knee length pencil fitting office skirt with a white shirt tucked in, fitting at all the right places. Emily wasn’t really curvy but she had slim yet slightly hourglass figure.

Her chestnut brown hair was styled neatly in a half updo and she did a very light make up which was directing the complete attention on her baby blue eyes. Her milky pale complexion was going nicely with the color of her outfit. She only wore small stud earrings with a watch and slack high heels to complete her look.

“Woah! You are looking incredible. Have your breakfast first and go confidently for your interview” after giving her honest opinion, Daisy began to eat with them

When Emily was silently eating her breakfast, Daisy was looking at her chest with weird expressions.

“What? Did I drop something on my shirt?” Emily asked with a small groan while looking down on her shirt.

She can’t accept dropping something on her bright white shirt that she only brought for this interview.

“Nope, you should have worn a push-up bra!” Daisy replied nonchalantly.

“Why? They are looking nice and perky!” Emily smiled proudly while looking at her b*obs in the mirror.

“Stop smiling! There is nothing to brag about! Its looking way too small. How are you going to seduce the handsome CEO of Flame enterprises with it?” Daisy intoned with a disappointed sigh.

“I am not going there to seduce the CEO. I am going there for getting a job!” Emily replied in disbelief.

“But you can’t deny. It’s an added benefit. I heard Brian Hale is exceptionally hot!” Daisy spoke while grinning like a Cheshire cat.

“Are you kidding me? Even if he is hot, what’s the point? Normal employs don’t meet CEO on regular days! I am not even an employ yet!” Emily uttered frustratedly.

“Oh God! Why am I even here?” Jeremy was grossed out because of their nonsense talk and got up from his seat with the cereal bowl on his hand.

“He is being really irritating these days” Daisy complained while narrowing her eyes at Jeremy.

“Kids grow up pretty fast” Emily took a deep sigh and Daisy also nodded.

After breakfast, Emily cross checked her files before keeping everything inside her bag.

“I am done, I am leaving” She smiled at them.

“Best of luck, Sister” Jeremy smiled back and hugged his sister.

“Best of luck, Babe. Go and put the whole damn office on fire. Don’t forget to seduce the CEO Brian Hale” Daisy spoke aggressively while hugging her.

“Thank you, loved ones. I will try my best!” Saying that, Emily left for the Flame Enterprises.

Flame Enterprises is one of the biggest companies of the country. They also had 16 branches abroad. It is always the part of the top 5 most earning companies list and CEO Brian Hale is one of the three most influential CEO. There are only two companies which gives it a good competition, which are Eclipse Enterprises and Amethyst Enterprises.

The Flame Enterprises is situated in the heart of the city. The most posh area of their town.

As Emily was moving to the busiest street in the morning where all the office workers were going for work at the same place, the street was too crowded. The traffic was crazy.

Emily was already late and the taxi didn’t move an inch from the spot from last fifteen minutes. She paid for her ride and left walking but it also wasn’t of much help. Looks like people has already heard her thoughts and now everyone was walking on the same sidewalk making it more crowded.

Somehow Emily reached the Flame Enterprises and thankfully, the front desk for entries were still open.

“Hello, my name is Emily Donavon. I applied here for the position of Customer Supporter Executive” Emily said politely to the receptionist.

The female smiled at her and started checked the pile of papers in front of her.

“Oh, yes. You application was submitted a week ago. You have to stand on that queue. They are taking candidates in chronological order, on first come, first serve basis. Your interview will be taken by our HR team!” The receptionist explained and pointed in a particular direction.

Emily looked at the direction where the receptionist was pointing and her eyes became as wide as full moon. There were around hundreds of people in that line.

‘What the hell! What is it? A queue to heaven?’ Emily was shocked.

She calculated that the day will turn into night when she will reach the door for the interview room.

“Tha.. that queue?” Emily stuttered to reconfirm it.

“Yes!” Receptionist smiled and nodded lightly.

‘How can she still smile after pointing towards that humongous queue?’ Emily’s mouth was wide open but she closed it soon.

She needed this job so she must have patience and deal with everything professionally.

“Okay, thank you” Emily replied politely and started moving towards the gigantic queue.

She was walking like a newborn baby in heels. She was not really used to wearing such thing. It was Daisy’s idea to look completely irresistible on the day of her interview so that they won’t be able to reject her. She cursed Daisy in her head and started hopping like a duck. The wet floor was making things more difficult for her.

Some random dude was running towards the queue of interns to claim an earlier spot for himself. He pushed the crowd of intern including Emily while running like a sports person. Thanks to her painful slippery heels, she couldn’t control her balance. She closed her eyes to avoid the embarrassing situation.

She was about to fall on her non existing a*s when a pair of giant arms held her waist, saving her from falling into a crowded lobby.

She opened her eyes and met with the most exquisite shade of hazel green globes. She felt the weird tingling sensation in her entire body like she never felt before and she heard the guy saying,

“MATE!”
