Chapter 95

Hazel’s POV

I tried to head into Logan’s room but his door was bolted shut.

“Logan please just open up! We can talk about this. Please.”

I waited at the door but there was no reply. I knocked again but I was still met with silence. I felt dejected. He was still so upset. I exhaled and wiped my eyes on my shirt. I couldn’t stand here all day. I had to take Jasper’s advice. Logan just needed some time to himself.

I headed to my room and found Lorena on the bed with Kaya. They were looking at some pictures that Kaya had drawn and Kaya had a big smile on her face.

I couldn’t help but break into a smile as well. They finally looked up at me and Kaya beamed at me with a big grin on her face.

“Miss Hazel!”

She left Lorena and ran towards me. I hugged her back and she quickly ran to get her coloring book.

“I drew you and Miss Lorena.”
