Chapter 97

Hazel’s POV

I was out for a work in the morning after I had picked out my clothes for school tomorrow.

I took a deep breath and walked down the street. I had to sneak out. I didn’t want Jasper to follow me. He had to set things right with Cassie and I didn’t want to come between them.

I took a turn and headed to a coffee shop. I was a little thirsty for something to drink and I needed to sit down. There was so much I had to think about and I thought time away from everyone was good for all of us. I had wrecked their lives enough.

I went in and it was quite empty. I looked at my watch. It was a little past 8am; there should have been a morning rush.

I headed to the main counter.

“Good morning, could I please have a cappuccino with a croissant. Thanks.”

The kind and handsome man smiled at me and I went over to a table to wait for the coffee. I tried to relax and clear my mind.
