Lorena’s POV

I was stunned. He had to be lying? There was no way this was true.

“I know your mind doubts what I say, Lady Lorena, But I simply speak the truth. You are pregnant with the Beta’s child.”

I felt my hand go to my stomach and I rubbed it slowly. There was no way a child was inside there. I felt fine. I closed my eyes and slowly, a tear began to run down my cheek. Who was I kidding? It was expected. Every time that I had sex with Ryder, we never used protection.

“I can tell that you are shocked by the news. I suggest that you go home and get your head wrapped around it. But keep in mind, your child might not be a regular wolf once it is born. The effects of the Omen Moon are strong, especially on destines that are yet to be shaped.”

I turned to look a Ryder and he had a blank expression on his face. I knew that he couldn’t believe it either. He took my hand and raised me up from the chair. We walked out of the little cottage without even a goodbye to the seer. My thoughts we
