Chapter 111

Hazel’s POV

I felt my head throbbing hard and yet there was something soft beneath it. My eyes fluttered open slowly and I was nearly blinded by a bright white light.

“Where am I?”

I looked around and suddenly, someone ran to my side.

“Jasper?”

“Hazel, are you alright?”

He took my hand gently in his. I tried to stand up but he gently pushed me back down.

“Don’t try to sit up. You need to rest.”

I lay back down and looked at him. I felt extremely exhausted.

“What happened to me?”

I watched him exhale and he pulled a chair close to me.

“Well to start off. You are in the school clinic. You will be fine. I found you in the hallway, on the floor with Cindy and Erica. They looked badly hurt and you looked too. I saw marks on your neck. Like you were strangled.”

I tried my best to remember but the miserable look in Jasper’s eyes stole my attention.
