Ralin was forced to swallow the bitter pill of post-marriage life with Kenzi Allen, an arrogant man who didn't love her.

There was not a day without insults from the man for him, simply because Ralin was his parents' choice, while Kenzi had a lover named Violin.

Ralin is just the son of a bankrupt businessman. His parents chose to commit suicide because they were ashamed of the situation.

Kenzi thinks that Ralin is only good because he wants to live with his family's luxuries.

"Get out of my sight!"

The screams of the man named Kenzi boomed in the room.

Ralin was scared; he curled up on the floor, not daring to make a sound other than a soft sob.

"You mean nothing in my eyes. The Violin is more than anything. You should have realized yourself and left here before I did something worse to you," said the man, which made Ralin cower even more in fear.

Instead of feeling sorry for her, Kenzi approached her and pulled Ralin's hair roughly until her tearful face looked up.

Being compared to the woman named Violin was normal for him.

"Help, it hurts!" Ralin begged for pity, but that made Kenzi satisfied, enjoying the woman's helplessness.

The days after her marriage, which had only been three months, never felt beautiful, only anger received by Ralin from Kenzi, the man who married her because of a parental promise.

Lowly woman

Women don't know themselves

Women who only want treasure

He was used to hearing it; even if his ears could speak, he would utter bored words, but who is Ralin? Who doesn't have anyone in this world?

If he had parents, he wouldn't have thought a thousand times about staying at Kenzi's house.

Whatever power he has, he is alone and wants to go anywhere because not only his father's company is missing, but even the house has changed ownership because of his father's debt to his best friend.

In other words, Ralin has nothing at the moment.

Until he realized something different inside him, Ralin decided to leave Kenzi's palace of hell for the safety of the fetus that had grown in her womb.

"Mommy!"

Little Kenra's voice snapped him back to five years ago. Ralin put on a smiling face welcoming his beloved daughter. The daughter was the reason he was strong until now.

"Why didn't Mommy pick me up?" A question that never changes if Ralin doesn't pick him up from school.

"Uncle Petra brought you," said Ralin.

Petra is her friend and the driver who brings the school bus.

"Mommy'd rather pick me up," he said again with pursed lips.

"Mommy just got home from the interview, so no time," Ralin said the reason. His hand pinched Kenra's naturally red lips, and he would be reminded of his past every time he saw her face.

"Mommy has got a new job?" Hearing that, the little girl changed her expression to one of enthusiasm.

Ralin nodded and smiled.

"It's fun; we can eat well," Kenra cheered as he jumped for joy.

Rin smiled upon hearing that. In recent months they have been forced to downsize after their old workplace went bankrupt. Kenra often even sulks eating potluck because he's bored with the same food.

This is all thanks to Petra, who advised him to apply to a diamond company in their city. As a jewellery design graduate, he wants to try it even though he last designed it long ago. Finally, what he learned before he could put it to work.

Unlike his previous job, which was just ordinary staff in a small company.

The first day he started work, Ralin woke up early in the morning to prepare food for his daughter and himself.

"Auntie, I'll entrust Kenra! I didn't have time to wait for the bus to come." He went to the house of a kind neighbour.

"Yes, you have said it many times. Go, let me accompany this beautiful child." Aunt Rose poked Kenra's rosy cheek, but Kenra immediately pushed it away.

"Thank you, Aunt!" Ralin said, slightly bowing, then he approached his son. Having kind neighbours is one of luck for them.

"Kenra studies diligently and goes straight home from school to Grandma Rose's house, OK?" Ralin gave understanding to his daughter.

"OK, Mommy!" he raised his thumb in understanding.

Ralin kissed his cheek and then left because the taxi he ordered had arrived. They were still waving at each other before the taxi completely disappeared.

In his heart, Ralin prayed that his work would be eased.

Ralin looked at the building where he made a living today with a reassuring smile before he stepped inside.

He remembered the message from the vice CEO who interviewed him yesterday, to wait near the reception desk.

He stood there for nearly ten minutes before the deputy CEO finally came.

"Miss Ralin, come with me!" he said when he saw Ralin.

Go up to the third floor, where there is an empty five-by-five room.

"This is Miss Ralin's room. The first design concept will be coming soon." Concise. The man left Ralin after explaining it.

Ralin looked around his room until there was a knock. An adult woman brought the paper in her hand.

"This is a list of themes that will be carried out in two months, and I hope Miss can finish it in time." The woman who had not introduced herself pointed out her theme.

"Two months?" Ralin was surprised; this was not an easy job; he had ten to design, that's what he saw in the file, "and in two months, all must be finished in the form of jewellery?" This is not possible. Think Raline.

"Previously, there were three people that you fired. That's why the company hopes Miss Ralin can finish this job right now." The woman added again without noticing the look on Ralin's face, which was no longer optimistic.

"I will work as much as I can," said Ralin, although he doubted his abilities, which had not been honed for a long time. He could have been the fourth person fired.

"Mr CEO's taste is lousy." There was nothing Ralin mentally lost at the words of the woman in front of him, "But there's no harm in trying. Maybe your design will be chosen," he continued encouraging Ralin.

Ralin began to leaf through the file. Read the theme that he must work on. 'Romantic moment' is definitely in the form of appropriate jewellery for a gift, engagement, anniversary or wedding ring, of course.

"I am Victoria, the secretary of Mr Darren, CEO of this company." After a while, the woman introduced herself.

Ralin welcomed the woman's helping hand, "Ralin Benedict," he answered.

"OK, if there is something Miss needs, please press number five, and you will be connected to the pantry section, but if there is a work problem, please press number three; someone will come here, but if Miss Ralin wants to approach Mr Darren, don't ever fantasize or even dream," Victoria added with a smile. Ralin only nodded in response until the woman left the room.

"Weird! Indeed, who wants to approach Mr Darren? They don't even know him." Ralin muttered to himself.

He first designed a ring with only one gem on top, which seemed normal. Ralin thought of another shape, which had to be memorable and proof that he deserved to be part of this company.

Time flies so fast, it's already noon, and her daughter is returning from school.

Knock knock

"Yes, come in!" Ralin replied from within.

"It's time for lunch. Want to come to the cafeteria?" A woman with shoulder-length hair came calling him.

"Sorry, I brought lunch from home," said Ralin, pointing to the lunch box on the table.

"Well, that's a shame, even though the staff wanted to make your acquaintance." The woman looked disappointed.

"I can come with you," said Ralin, who felt terrible for refusing.

They finally went to the cafeteria. Ralin only ordered drinks because he still ate lunch from home.

After eating, Ralin introduced himself to the employees in the canteen, and they greeted him happily.

Ralin felt that his office environment was quite comfortable, and he became more and more excited so that this company could be maintained, given the difficulty of finding a job.

Ralin did his work at the office and even at home after his daughter fell asleep. In a week, the design should be finished as much as possible, and then it remains to be handed over to the manufacturing team.

Today is exactly one week after he works. He has never even met the CEO of United Jewelry.

Victoria came to take Ralin's designs. He will hand it over to their CEO to be assessed and then to the production team.

"Pray Ralin for your design to be accepted," Victoria said, "if this is rejected, I don't know where to look for jewellery designs anymore." the woman added.

From Victoria's expression, it can be concluded that the boss of this company is a lousy person.

"Hopefully accepted!" said Ralin encouragingly. He also hopes that with this work, he can continue working at this company.

Victoria knocked on Darren's door before he let her in.

The adult girl immediately handed over the drawing paper of the new design.

Darren immediately opened it without asking Victoria anything. On the first page is an Eiffel ring, with small gems circling the circle and one large jewel just above it.

The second is a European diamond sprinkled with gems, but the shape of the ring is crisscrossed. It took only two of Darren to raise his head.

"Call the designer to my room!" Darren ordered.

Victoria nodded and immediately turned her body to get out of the room. No doubt she was a little worried. What if her boss didn't like the jewellery designs?

I hope not.

Knock knock

"Enter!"

"Ralin, Mr Darren will call you to his room immediately," Victoria said quickly. He couldn't hide his worried face, so Ralin was also concerned.

"Did he not like my drawing?" Ralin is a little pessimistic.

Victoria shook her head. "He didn't say anything", she said. "Come on! You have to learn to answer the questions correctly." Victoria told him.

Ralin only nodded.

He followed Victoria's steps to the fifth floor, where his boss's room was.

Knock knock

"Enter!" A firm voice sounded from inside.

Victoria stepped first and then followed by Ralin.

"This is Miss Ralin, sir!" Victoria introduced her while shifting her body so that Darren could see Ralin.

Darren's breath seemed to stop seeing the woman standing beside his secretary.

"Raline!" he said softly.

Days, weeks and months passed, but Aice still pretended to be paralyzed. Even though Ralin never gave up on taking him to therapy. For today, Ralin was pushing Aice's wheelchair in a mall, and Kenra was walking beside him. They had just returned from the hospital, and Ralin took Aice for a walk, from eating to shopping for necessities. Coming home from the shopping centre, Ralin pulled over the car in front of a pharmacy. He wanted to buy vitamins for Kenra. The car returned to the house; the aunt was waiting at the door. "Where's the package from?" asked Ralin as soon as he got out of the car. "This is for Aice, madam," answered Auntie. Ralin watched the small package for a while, then entered the house. Luke's breath catches, and his memory is thrown at last night's incident when he was about to return home. His car had a puncture; unfortunately, there was no spare tire. Luke stood outside the car with his hands on his hips. He knew this location was closer to his brother's house. Luke also decided to leave his car and started walking back to Kenzi's house. He rang the bell, and Kenzi opened the door. "My car has a flat tire, it's too far to go home, so I'm staying here tonight," he said as he stood up. Kenzi shifted so his sister could enter, "Come in!" he said, then locked the door, "no room vacant." "I slept on the couch," Luke said lightly. "If you're thirsty, get it yourself in the kitchen. I want to see Kenra first!" Kenzi needed more time to tidy up the blanket when the doorbell rang. Luke walked into the kitchen. He saw the tea on the table, which looked like it was still

"Hey Brother Aic!" Ralin greeted the girl sitting in the backseat in a friendly manner. Aice was silent, even averting her gaze. Ralin, who realized that, sighed, and his hand reached out to brush Kenra's hair. Aice was very arrogant, even to a child. I am still determining the motive behind the accident. Ralin escorted the two back to the house before he understood Kenra to leave for a while. Ralin sat in a cafe, and a man dressed in black came over to his table. "Her name is indeed Aice, she lives in an orphanage, but in the last year she left and worked at a club." Ralin listened carefully. "What about the information from the police?" asked the man. "No info yet, they seem slow and I can't bear to find out." "I will find out about the accident, pure or planned, because I haven't managed to break into the club yet." The man is an acquaintance of Kenzi and Ralin, who asked him to deal with him. "I want it ASAP!" Ralin ordered. "Okay!" At home Aice was near the fence

At home, Aice doesn't want to talk; even when fed, she is reluctant to touch it. I don't know what's on his mind. If you look at his age, he is still very young but too stubborn. "You need medicine to recover quickly, don't you want to be able to walk?" Aunt, of course, was annoyed with him. "Don't mind me," he snapped, making Auntie cringe, "I just want Kenzi to feed me." Auntie deliberately lowered her head to look at Aice's face to clarify, "I suspect that this accident was your plan." Alice stuttered, "Wh-what did Auntie say? Who wants to be like this, can't walk and be free." "Well, that's what you know, so eat your food and don't forget to take your medicine. To win Mr. Kenzi, you have to be prettier than Mrs. Ralin." After saying those words, Auntie entered the kitchen; she just wanted to see Aice's plan. "I do have to be pretty to charm Kenzi, I'll eat," Alice said quietly. The aunt's sentence just now motivated her to get well. The food was empty in no time, and the

Aice silently watched Aunt clean up the shattered glass shards just from falling. It couldn't have been this broken. He thought. Auntie suspected that it was intentional. She also glanced at Aice. The doctor left, leaving the three of them inside. Ralin took out his cell phone, telling Anne to handle the company. "Thank you, Ann!" Ralin said, then hung up the call. "You don't need to be here!" The woman spoke again; she stared at Ralin with hatred. Ralin kept his cell phone and then approached the girl, "I am the wife of the man who ran into you, I am also responsible for your recovery," said Ralin.
