Ralin sat in front of Kenra's treatment room, the business card still in his hand. How could he contact the man who tortured his life the most, who was the cause of his son being hospitalized?

Ralin was seen wiping away his tears; a handkerchief was proffered before him; Ralin looked up and saw his boss standing over him.

"S-gentlemen!" Ralin immediately stood up to greet him and slightly bowed his head.

"I came to visit your daughter," Darren said matter-of-factly.

"Bu-but ...," Ralin felt uncomfortable as a new employee. Is it appropriate that his boss came to visit his family?

"Where is the room?" Darren jerked Ralin's reverie.

"Th-here, sir." Like it or not, Ralin opened the door to Kenra's room, the little girl who had opened her eyes.

"Hey, beautiful!" Darren greeted kindly, and Ralin couldn't believe what he saw.

"Meet Uncle Darren, your mommy's friend!" He held out his hand.

"Kenra," the boy answered simply.

"Uncle brought fruit for Kenra," Darren said, pointing to a small parcel of fruit.

"Thank you, Uncle!" Kenra was indeed a polite child; all of those were teachings from Ralin.

Ralin left Darren and Kenra; he met the doctor who gave him the business card.

"Madam, have you contacted him?" asked the doctor.

Ralin shook his head, "I'm asking for help so that the doctor can contact him about the cost," said Ralin, both hands squeezed together.

He wouldn't refuse the treatment because Ralin needed it, but he didn't want Kenzi to come to the hospital—just that.

The doctor nodded in agreement.

"Doctor, may I ask for help, Doctor," said Ralin doubtfully.

"Just say it." The doctor invited the mother of his patient to speak.

"Please tell Mr Kenzi there is no need to visit the hospital. I-I have forgiven him." Ralin had to say this because he didn't want to meet Kenzi. Apart from being afraid that now it would no longer be the same because Kenra was by his side.

The doctor, who felt Ralin's strange request, nodded in agreement.

At night Ralin stayed at the hospital; Petra accompanied him.

"Petra, once again, I'm bothering you; please accompany Kenra here. I can't leave work," he said reluctantly before Petra left.

"You are like anyone else. I will accompany this little elf." Petra pinched Kenra's nose.

"Sick Uncle," he protested.

Ralin feels calm now; because he is still new, he is reluctant to take a day off, plus there is very urgent work, and even then, he will try to finish it tomorrow and then excuse himself to look after his daughter.

As for Petra, the man has a friend ready to replace his job.

Kenra was asleep, and Petra went home, while Ralin couldn't close his eyes since earlier. Her memory returned to five years ago when she had to marry Kenzi, a man who only touched her body without wanting to love her.

Violin, the woman that the man always adored. At first, Ralin didn't love Kenzi either, but since the man touched her, his feelings slowly emerged until they grew in his heart.

Ralin corrected his attitude and greeted Kenzi well but he always got insults. The man was too cold and untouched his heart.

Early in the morning, Petra came and replaced Ralin. The woman returned home and got ready for work.

"How's Kenra doing?" Granny Rose waited outside the house. When Ralin came out, she asked.

"Her hand is broken, Grandma. The rest is just a little scratched," said Ralin.

"Oh, my poor grandson!" he sighed, "I can not see him now," he continued.

"It's okay, Grandma. Petra is accompanying her. I'll go first, Grandma!" Ralin said goodbye when he saw the taxi he ordered to come.

"Yes, be careful," said the old woman, watching the departure of the young woman who had been her neighbour for the past five years.

At Ralin's company, he does his job seriously so he can go home faster. He applied for permission this morning.

"Miss Ralin working?" Darren just came and asked his secretary.

Victoria nodded.

"Even though her daughter is still sick." Darren looked worried.

"Miss Ralin has applied for permission to go home quickly, sir," said Victoria.

Darren seemed to think momentarily before saying, "Send him to my room before he goes home!" he messaged Victoria.

Finished doing his job Ralin immediately headed to Darren's room.

"Master called me?" he asked.

"Yeah, it's about your job," Darren said. Ralin gasped; what might he have done wrong?

"You may leave her until your daughter recovers," he continued.

Instead of being happy, Ralin felt terrible because he was a new employee, "Sir, thank you for your kindness, but can I take the job home? That way, I won't feel privileged as a new employee." Ralin got this idea.

Darren looked at him in surprise; in his heart, he immensely admired Ralin's choice, which seemed not to take advantage of his kindness.

"Okay, I don't mind." Darren agreed.

Ralin again thanked them before leaving Darren's room. Victoria was already standing waiting for a story from Ralin.

"What's taking you so long? What are you two talking about? Did Mr Darren fire you?" Victoria sucks.

Ralin smiled, indicating good news, "Mr Darren permitted to take care of my daughter," said Ralin, suddenly making Victoria's eyes widen in disbelief. Rachel nodded reassuringly.

"Gosh! I think Mr Darren forgot to take his medicine," Victoria commented.

"Is he sick?"

Victoria shook her head, "This is not him, Ralin. He is cold and doesn't seem to care." Victoria still shook her head in disbelief, "You are fortunate," she praised.

"Mr Petra, the man who hit Miss Kenra, has come to see her," said the doctor, approaching Kenra's room while Kenzi was waiting outside.

"Her mother doesn't allow anyone to visit her." Petra refused for a reason Ralin.

"Mr Kenzi won't take long, just to apologize," the doctor said again according to what Kenzi said.

He had already spoken on the phone to deliver a message from Ralin, but Kenzi still wanted to come to visit Kenra.

Petra seemed to consider it impolite to refuse someone with good intentions to come; besidesKenra, entire expenses until he recovered were his responsibility, and again, what happened was not entirely the man's fault.

"All right, Doc. Let him in!" Petra finally relented. The doctor immediately opened the door and called Kenzi.

When Kenzi took a step, his heart seemed to beat for a long time, but it was intense. Slowly he went inside; his eyes immediately met Kenra's eyes, the innocent little girl leaning on the gurney.

Those eyes seemed to hypnotize him; Kenzi couldn't look away until his body stood on the side of the minor child he hit yesterday.

"Mr Kenzi, I'll excuse you. There are still patients to be examined." The doctor said goodbye and was nodded by Kenzi.

Petra didn't want to leave; she would still watch inside how the man would apologize to little Kenra.

"Haa--ai!" say hi Kenzi.

It was the first time he was nervous to face someone and, strangely, only a child.

He had seen those eyes many times, but where? Kenzie thought.

"Hey, Uncle!" Kenra replied smoothly; he smiled until his lips were apart to show his crooked teeth. Kenzi was even more stunned to see him.

The little girl before him looked like someone, but who? Again he asked.

"Uncle, who bumped into you yesterday? The purpose of Uncle here is to see your condition and apologize at the same time!" Kenzi was still nervous.

Petra winced at the conversation. Was this man stuttering? he thought.

Unexpectedly Kenra covered his mouth with his left hand because he was laughing, and now Kenzi was frowning.

"Uncle, is it okay? Can't speak fluently?" Kenra asked, still a smile on her lips.

Kenzi also smiled awkwardly; he scratched the back of his neck that didn't itch. It's like dealing with a woman her age, but this is more thrilling.

"N-no, un-uncle didn't stutter." Kenzi denied it. Kenra laughed again, and it looked cute.

God, Kenzi was mesmerized to see that little boy.

"Uncle must be scared? Don't worry; Kenra isn't angry. Mommy said we have to forgive people who apologize to us," he explained wisely.

"Oh yes?" Kenzi was amazed to hear that.

Kenra nodded enthusiastically.

"Uncle, may I know your name?" Kenzi held out her hand, invitingly introducing him.

"Of course, my name is Kenra Allen, but mommy said it's enough to call Kenra even though I like Allen," Kenra replied and then chattered.

Kenzi's face straightened slightly, hearing Allen's words.

"Why don't you just call Allen?" asked Kenzi curiously.

"Mommy said Allen is a clan, so you shouldn't call girls by that name unless it's an adult man. Then people will call him Mr Allen."

Kenzi smiled hearing that; he wanted to linger here telling this child. He seemed to discover a new world.

In their preoccupation with talking, Petra excused himself to buy food. Seeing the intimacy between his friend's daughter and Kenzi made him dare to leave them both.

"Uncle!"

"Yes!"

"Kenra also wants to apologize to Uncle," Kenra said with his face down, playing with his two fingers.

"Kenra didn't do anything wrong to Uncle," Kenzi replied; he lifted the little chin to look at him. His nervousness had disappeared.

"Kenra was wrong, crossing carelessly; forgive Kenra, Uncle!"

Good grief!

Whose child is this? This small, his thinking is mature, and he is an intelligent kid—inner Kenzie.

Kenzi excused himself after Petra arrived. He wanted to meet Kendra's parents but couldn't stay long.

Ralin, who had just arrived, was so happy because he couldn't wait to meet and accompany his daughter until she recovered. He walked quickly until his shoulder touched Kenzi's shoulder. Because he wanted to see his daughter quickly, Ralin didn't look back; he kept walking fast while Kenzi turned around while holding the arm hit by Ralin's shoulder.

His eyes kept looking at the woman who seemed to have no manners, and he chuckled. She should have apologized. He thought.

Days, weeks and months passed, but Aice still pretended to be paralyzed. Even though Ralin never gave up on taking him to therapy. For today, Ralin was pushing Aice's wheelchair in a mall, and Kenra was walking beside him. They had just returned from the hospital, and Ralin took Aice for a walk, from eating to shopping for necessities. Coming home from the shopping centre, Ralin pulled over the car in front of a pharmacy. He wanted to buy vitamins for Kenra. The car returned to the house; the aunt was waiting at the door. "Where's the package from?" asked Ralin as soon as he got out of the car. "This is for Aice, madam," answered Auntie. Ralin watched the small package for a while, then entered the house. After receiving the package, Aice entered the room; she forgot to close her doo

Luke woke up naked, and in the wheelchair, he saw Alice silently as if holding something back. Luke's breath catches, and his memory is thrown at last night's incident when he was about to return home. His car had a puncture; unfortunately, there was no spare tire. Luke stood outside the car with his hands on his hips. He knew this location was closer to his brother's house. Luke also decided to leave his car and started walking back to Kenzi's house. He rang the bell, and Kenzi opened the door. "My car has a flat tire, it's too far to go home, so I'm staying here tonight," he said as he stood up. Kenzi shifted so his sister could enter, "Come in!" he said, then locked the door, "no room vacant." "I slept on the couch," Luke said lightly. "If you're thirsty, get it yourself in the kitchen. I want to see Kenra first!" Kenzi needed more time to tidy up the blanket when the doorbell rang. Luke walked into the kitchen. He saw the tea on the table, which looked like it was still

"Hey Brother Aic!" Ralin greeted the girl sitting in the backseat in a friendly manner. Aice was silent, even averting her gaze. Ralin, who realized that, sighed, and his hand reached out to brush Kenra's hair. Aice was very arrogant, even to a child. I am still determining the motive behind the accident. Ralin escorted the two back to the house before he understood Kenra to leave for a while. Ralin sat in a cafe, and a man dressed in black came over to his table. "Her name is indeed Aice, she lives in an orphanage, but in the last year she left and worked at a club." Ralin listened carefully. "What about the information from the police?" asked the man. "No info yet, they seem slow and I can't bear to find out." "I will find out about the accident, pure or planned, because I haven't managed to break into the club yet." The man is an acquaintance of Kenzi and Ralin, who asked him to deal with him. "I want it ASAP!" Ralin ordered. "Okay!" At home Aice was near the fence

At home, Aice doesn't want to talk; even when fed, she is reluctant to touch it. I don't know what's on his mind. If you look at his age, he is still very young but too stubborn. "You need medicine to recover quickly, don't you want to be able to walk?" Aunt, of course, was annoyed with him. "Don't mind me," he snapped, making Auntie cringe, "I just want Kenzi to feed me." Auntie deliberately lowered her head to look at Aice's face to clarify, "I suspect that this accident was your plan." Alice stuttered, "Wh-what did Auntie say? Who wants to be like this, can't walk and be free." "Well, that's what you know, so eat your food and don't forget to take your medicine. To win Mr. Kenzi, you have to be prettier than Mrs. Ralin." After saying those words, Auntie entered the kitchen; she just wanted to see Aice's plan. "I do have to be pretty to charm Kenzi, I'll eat," Alice said quietly. The aunt's sentence just now motivated her to get well. The food was empty in no time, and the

"Miss what are you doing?" There was a scream from the living room. Aunt was shocked to see her master's family photo fell and shattered on the floor. "I didn't do it on purpose, just passing by and..." "Come on, get out of the way!" Aunt pushed Aice's wheelchair a little. Instead, he went to the tape and took a broom to clean it. He was a little strange looking at the girl in the wheelchair. How could it be nudged? The photo is higher. If you pass it, of course, it won't hit it. Aice silently watched Aunt clean up the shattered glass shards just from falling. It couldn't have been this broken. He thought. Auntie suspected that it was intentional. She also glanced at Aice. "Aunt why are you looking at me like that? You suspect me?" Aice challenged those eyes. "I don't know, Aice. If you felt suspected, would you be angry?" "Of course, I said it wasn't on purpose." Aice defended herself. "Auntie, what is this?" Ralin and Kenzi came wearing kimonos. Making Aice's gaze cha

Finally, the girl spoke to the doctor who was about to return to check on her, "Can you talk?" The girl was silent again. "Tell me what's your name and where is your family?" Kenzi also asked. The girl shook her head. "If you don't tell us how are we going to tell your family? They must be really worried about you." Ralin also chimed in, but the girl kept her mouth shut. The doctor left, leaving the three of them inside. Ralin took out his cell phone, telling Anne to handle the company. "Thank you, Ann!" Ralin said, then hung up the call. "You don't need to be here!" The woman spoke again; she stared at Ralin with hatred. Ralin kept his cell phone and then approached the girl, "I am the wife of the man who ran into you, I am also responsible for your recovery," said Ralin. While Kenzi was now asleep on the sofa, he was sleepy because he had not slept all night. "I do not need you." Ralin frowned; he watched the woman, sick or just pretending. "No need to look at me like th
