“What do you want again, Collins? For goodness’s sake, I just sent you money yesterday?” Amarie had a distraught expression on her face and had her hand running through her hair repeatedly as she paced from one end of her shared room with Hughes to the other.

She felt like her head was being banged on. It was so heavy, she wanted to hold it, move to lay on the bed and go to sleep forever. She wished she wouldn't wake up, so she would've had to deal with what she was dealing with right now: Collins calling to ask for more money. He was becoming greedy with each passing day, she was fed up already.
