Chp 2 Pt. 3 Inheritance

My alarm goes off annoyingly early. I shut it off and groan as I force myself out of bed. I head to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I get dressed in shorts, a simple white tee shirt, black tennis shoes and throw my hair up in a pony tail before heading downstairs.

I first make a pot of coffee, knowing myself and the other morning staff are going to want some. I go through my checklist to ensure everything that should’ve been done last night actually got done. I put away the dishes that got wash last night and turn on the grill so it’s all warmed up by the time the cook gets here.

I look at my watch and see I have a good forty-five minutes until we open so I grab a cup of coffee as I hear the Sysco truck pull up out back.

“Good morning Darryl.”
