Chp 4 Pt. 1 Homecoming
Maliyah
These last few weeks go by in a blur. Aspen told me about his warlock theory so I dropped the charges against Evan. A part of me hopes he is right, but another part of me hopes he is wrong. Things have been peaceful since the end of the war.
Aspen has gone back to his realm. His father has been keeping him busy with slowly taking over some tasks. King Bjarki plans to retire soon. I wake up before my alarm so I decide to shower since I know I won’t be going back to sleep.
I finish rather quickly and look at my watch, realizing I have over an hour to kill before needing to head to school. I mind link Sarah to put an order in for the twins and I. She is one of the few wolves working here while she attends college just down the road.

Maliyah I was in the hospital for three days before they finally released me. Thankfully Terra was able to heal me and I feel good as new except she has exhausted herself and won’t be able to shift for a while. Aspen The whole crowd ducks to the ground as we hear gun shots ring into the night. The humans scramble, screaming as they shove each other to find cover. Coven kids do their best to use spells to block the bullets while the wolves help the humans escape. I scan the crowd to find Maliyah but she is no where in sight.
